So my laptop is being repaired

I brought this up on Twitter, but I’ve got a repair-person working on my laptop.Initially I thought it was an issue with the charger port, but one of the first things I was told after turning in my machine was that the port looks entirely fine, and my battery is swollen. The working theory is that my laptop has a failsafe for a swollen battery that disables charging at a certain point, and that’s why the port stopped functioning. I've been trying to stick to a schedule of "start around noon and stop working before midnight, for the love of neptune" but I obviously broke that tonight to finish this up.Most detailed piece in a while, by the way.
