Broadsword 4
Well, it only took us almost five years but we finally got Typh out of that bed and down those stairs. Hopefully we'll get him sober in less time than that in what must be at least the fourth version of the events of the start of the story (but the first to deal with the events leading up to the battle with Faden).Click on the tag to see the first three pages.Original Story, Characters, and Dialogue by DrowemosAdapted with Additional Material by Scott T. New $1 and $5 tier images coming very soon!
As you can see, we've posted a lot of $1 tier images for Dark Reflections (Zen) in the last few days with even more to come (not just Dark Reflections material either). There's also a lot of images for the $5 tier where the art is completely finished, just wanted to let you all know. It's just going to take a bit longer than expected to get them fully ready for publication but just keeping you all updated that it's not long now, so please keep and eye out over the first week of March or so.

Good Pal
The latest page of Exiern posted early for patrons!Hot off the press from Scott in the US!Which is 2:40am the following day in Australia.Lucky I'm on night shift today then isn't it?(Well, for some anyway. I'll let you all decide who the lucky people are.)

Dark Reflections 91
Art by A+AStory by ZenLettering by Scott T. HickenBest way to catch up may be to click on the DARK REFLECTIONS: ZEN tag and sort from Old to New.So, this has been in my email Inbox since December 2018 and it looks like Page 90 was published on the 1st of February 2018, with Page 89 being published in December 2017.We're hoping to try and make up for that at least a little by publishing Pages 91-100 (the last of which I received in December 2020) at the rate of one a day until all 10 pages are published.Part of the reason for the delay? We o...
Dark Reflections 89 and 90
For some reason all those years ago, they were put on the $5 tier while all the previous ones were on the $1.They've now been made available for all patrons, so if you haven't seen them before, they're available to read at the $1 tier.Watch this space over the upcoming days to see more Dark Reflections news!

What is wrong with this picture?
As you can see, our raiding the closets for things to put on the Patreon in order to keep our promise of loads of updates this month and next has reached the wedding photos!Namely, the gift we gave Marshall Reeves (historically a frequent guest artist for Exiern) for his marriage back in 2019 to the lovely Brianna!Special thanks to Marshall, he's given us permission to share it with you all today.Art by Luis XIII (then as Antipus), our previous main artist for Exiern and captioning by Sean Harrington of Spying With Lana (frequent guest cont...
Next Page Draft Preview
We don't plan to publish every single draft page (because where would any of the surprises be then?) but just to assure you all that we should have a new story page next Monday and that the ongoing story will be back on track after our brief annual detour for Valentine's Day.Looks like from this page, someone's been up to something, someone will be up to something and there's someone who has no idea what anyone's up to, including likely themselves!
Meant to support a Patreon from my personal account but was logged into this one by mistake
Sorry about that everyone, meant to support a Patreon personally but was logged into the Exiern Patreon instead. So, you might have gotten a notification about this account supporting another Patreon. That was a mistake I've already cancelled and redone over on my personal Patreon. There's no plans for the Exiern creator Patreon to be used in such a fashion at this time or anytime in the future as it currently stands.Once again, sorry about that notification if you received it.
It wasn't even a good idea at the time!
As you might have guessed, we've been going through our closets and putting up (almost) everything we can find socked away somewhere and often never published. This was the page meant to go between this one:http://exiern.com/comic/exiern-christmas-special-2019/and this one:http://exiern.com/comic/typhs-terrible-revenge-boxing-day-special-2019-the-unboxening/... but at the last moment, I thought I'd better check with Scott."It seemed like a good idea at the time but then when I stepped back ...So especially after the flag debacle ... ...
Customer Satisfaction
Since I got access to the creator page for Exiern's Patreon, it was interesting to see this on the main page:"Make an exclusive post to engage your patronsDid you know? Creators who post patron-only content twice a month tend to keep their patrons around longer."Looks like we've really busted the curve since at least November last year! However, as always ... quality over quantity. We'd like to think that the stuff we're putting out has at been pretty good on the whole but we should actually confirm that.So I'm going ...
I don't think I agree with the Patreon AI on this one (plus Fist of the North Star image available for download)
Went to set the Patreon post that just went up as a Public post and got this message popping up."Looks like the image you're about to post might contain nudity or adult content, which is only allowed on patron-only posts. As a reminder, implied nudity is still considered adult content. Please set your post to patron-only before proceeding. If you still have questions, take a look at our Community Guidelines or email our Trust and Safety team at guidance @patreon.com."It's just Tiffany in one of her work uniforms! (all of it too!)...
Fist of the North Star (original image)
New chapter starts tomorrow at this time for Exiern: Dark Reflections - Chaos.Cover incorporating this artwork can be seen here:Just had a major reveal last week, so don't click back one page if you don't know what it is and don't want to be spoiled before you have a chance to it read from the beginning if you're interested! It's not essential to have read the original Exiern but it will help to maximise the effect of some major reveals and events!More big reveals on the way!Updates every Wednesday!Art by Studio KatsumiExiern...
Broadsword 3
... and this is the last of three pages made before the project stalled despite our numerous attempts to get it off the ground again. As you might have guessed, we're having yet another crack at it(Also, trying to rush to beat Patreon's 5 minute lockout period for scheduling posts at a given time meant things didn't quite go as planned but luckily only a delay of a few minutes of what was promised.)Original Story, Characters, and Dialogue by DrowemosAdapted with Additional Material by Scott T. Broadsword 2
The explanation for posting Page 1 of Broadsword is that there were actually more than one page made about 5 years ago and we reposted it because it's a while back and hence maybe asking a bit much for people to remember it specifically, for starters ...See you again in another two minutes!Original Story, Characters, and Dialogue by DrowemosAdapted with Additional Material by Scott T. Broadsword 1
This is actually the same image as from this Patreon post from almost five years ago.https://www.patreon.com/posts/5464835Explanations as to what it all is about at the link above. As for why we're posting it again, that explanation comes in a post 2 minutes after this one!
Third Wheel (Both Versions)
Both the more safe (displayed) and less safe (attached) versions of this Monday's page (depending on which time zone you fall in).Admittedly not hugely different but as always, playing it safe for people wanting to scroll through their feeds without any unexpected big surprises.Your mileage may vary on how big this is.
News about upcoming posts and who's who
For about the next month or so (and hopefully no more than two), we're going to be frequently (but trying not to be too often) updating you all about what's going on behind the scenes just so you all know where Exiern's at.Scott as you may have heard has some big life changes coming up very soon if it hasn't happened already and so he can't give Exiern the full time and financial commitment that he'd like at the moment. So, that's why I (Shan) have got the primary control of the Patreon (and the first person particip...
Colour preview of the next page (no text)
Literally hot off the press from our current main artist, Studio Katsumi.Awaiting text from Scott but I don't know long that will be as it's literally just dropped and Scott has been burning the midnight oil for adding text and speech to all that Patreon content we're going to drop before the end of the month (and it's hopefully going to be a lot!).Attached as a file because it's a bit NSFW like the draft (we're very cautious for people wanting scroll through their feeds at work.Scott will presumably make use of some str...
Something Sketchy
It's been a while since we've done something like this but here's a preview of the draft for the next page. Added as an attachment instead of an image because of a slight bit of upper body nudity and we're being cautious on behalf of anyone at work who might just want to scroll through their Patreon feed for example.
