Best of Bootie Mashup 2024
2024 was definitely a year where femme-forward pop music returned with a vengeance. Charli XCX, Chappell Roan, and Sabrina Carpenterformed a holy trinity of pop girlies, and along with the sapphic vibes of Billie Eilish, these four artists are amply represented here, with no less than two mashups each.Country went pop as well, as Beyoncé, Post Malone, Shaboozey, and Morgan Wallenall brought twang to the charts – which we then we took and turned into dance floor bangers. And while most of the vocals on these 33 tracks were big hits this past ye...

Bootie Mashup Top 10 - December 2024
For our last Top 10 of 2024, DJ SQWRL-- our latest resident DJ on Twitch, as well as long-running host of Bootie Mashup in Second Life-- curated most of these, with additional picks from DJ Airsun, Jupiter Gatling, Lobsterdust, and DJ Tyme. All of these were considered "Top 10 of the year" by at least one of them, but didn't quite make the cut for our upcoming Best of Bootie Mashup 2024 mixtape. Which is why I love doing a year-end "leftovers" for the December Top 10. Becausethese are all very TASTY leftovers, and I'm gla...

Just in time for Halloween! 'Tis the season! Spoopy season, that is!October 31st is upon us, and the mashup community never fails to deliver. This is obviously everyone's favorite holiday. The nice thing about all these Halloween mashups is that, unlike Christmas songs, many of these fit into DJ sets and playlists year-round. They aren't just for Halloween! The canvas and palette are little broader for the spoopy season, which is probably why we're now up to 11 Halloween Booootie mixtapes, but only 7 Christmas compilations. Here ...

Hopefully this batch is worth the wait though! Here are the highlights:• Chappell Roan Mashups & Remixes– All curated for our Chappell x Charli party a few weeks ago, far and away our biggest party of 2024.• Charli xcx...

Another month, another 140 mashups in this month's Patreon Pack. Lots of goodies in store, but here are the hightlights:• Lewis Wake – Mashups, Vol. 18–I love the work of Glasgow's Lewis Wake, but OMG, his latest compilation of mashups just really hits my diva pop sweet spot, with a very female-centric collection of mashups featuring all my girls: Chappell Roan, Sabrina Carpenter, Kim Petras, Taylor Swift, Beyoncé, and more. Bootie Mashup Top 10 - July 2024
Tried to hit a lot of "songs of the summer" here! Coming in hot is a triple-shot from Scottish producer Lewis Wake, whose "Mashups Vol. 18"is definitely my favorite of his long-running compilation series thus far. It includes one of two Chappell Roanmashups on this list, who is well on her way to becoming my #1 artist on my future Spotify Wrapped for 2024. Fellow Scot iWillBattleis also featured with a double-shot of two of the biggest rap songs of the summer, and the rest of the Top 10 mashes up other recent hits, including kic...
