Changes to Kinks of the Month Polls for Fairer and More Varied Results

As you know, the Kinks of the Month (KotM) polls have been a thing for quite a while now and are now directly responsible for deciding the focus of 2 out of 3 updates every month, i.e. 66% of the game's content. They have largely worked quite well, but there is definitely an issue with the same ~8 kinks taking turns to win again and again. Also, despite the extra vote given to $3+ patrons, from past results, this hasn't actually been a single month where this actually changed any of the top 2 winning kinks from the normal poll.So from t...

At Work & Missionary & Bugfixes for v4.11, v4.12 & v4.13

Firstly, let's first talk about v4.13 (8 October), which is planned to focus entirely on bug fixes as the bugs have admittedly been pilling up a bit since the conclusion of the v4.0 overhaul back in May:Between now and 4 October (i.e. a whole month), please report any bugs currently in the game on the Discord's bugs channel so that they can be fixed in v4.13. Please provide as much detail as possible (i.e. exactly how to trigger this bug) because usually the biggest challenge to fixing a bug is actually reproducing it on my end. No need...

Main Poll for All Patrons: Kinks of the Month for September (v4.11 & v4.12)

Please vote before 3 September. All patrons should vote in this poll. If you support at higher tiers, you can cast the same votes again in the bonus poll for $3+ patrons. The final result will simply be from adding up the votes from this poll and the bonus poll, i.e. $3+ patrons have their votes counted twice. While I appreciate all support big or small, this is done for more fairness because patrons in the $1 tier outnumber the others combined by more than 2 to 1 so previously, without the bonus poll, those who donated the most to the project e...

Basically, for Beta 3 & Beta 4, I simply went down the list of assets I have collected, so most of what's been added are just everyday clothes. In v4.0 Stable, I'll review ...

$1000 Milestone Reached! 3 Updates Each Month!

Thanks to all your generous support, the $1000 milestone for the LifePlay has just been reached. This means that from next month onwards, the update schedule will switch from one update every 2 weeks (i.e. just slightly more than 2 updates each month) to 3 updates each month. In yearly term, this is an increase from 26 updates a year to 36 updates a year.(I know Patreon's income always fluctuates. In particular, it tends to drop at the start of each month due to declined payments and one-off donations, then hopefully recover throughout the ...
