Morrigan and Lilith

Ok so, I didn't plan on getting back before drawing the last Character poll selection (Liara T'Soni, if you remember) but Udon Entertainment has announced a Fanart contest which ends on the 3rd of January, and since I won't be home for the holidays, I had to squeeze this one out before everything, as fast as I could. (It is one of my greatest Art Goals to be published one day alongside some of the greatest artists in an Udon Entertainment magazine so... I had to give this a shot.)Thankfully I could get my drawing setup back up and r...

October News + Sketch (spooky)

Hello everyone, I hope you're all doing well.I come today with a lot of news, some good, some bad, some so-so, etc.But more importantly, I will need your opinion on something.I will be as brief as I can, but the renovation is taking a lot longer than expected. Mostly because the professionals we hired cannot read a plan and we had to start a lot of things back to zero ourselves. Which obviously sucks because it takes time and money for nothing, but hey at least I learned how to rewire an entire kitchen and got some good basics in plumbery a...

Good news - The end is in sight !

So, as some of you might know (if you follow me on my alt. Twitter @SadGanger) there has been some huge progress regarding the house we bought !The judge finally signed the papers we sent them and now, the next step for us is a meeting on the 14th of September with our notary to officially hand us the keys. Now, while this is pretty good news in itself, it also means that the next step will be all of the renovation work. And there will be a lot to do; some things we can do ourselves and other stuff that will have to be done by professionals so,...

Some NSFW sketches

In order of appearance; Vulnapie, Felia and Keskileene. Please thank The_Mute_Cynic once more, for allowing me to post some content during this hiatus !(Also, I got some news about the house ! but I'll make a separate post for it.)

Some colored sketches

In order of appearance; Senri, Felicia and Alexandria. They are characters owned by The_Mute_Cynic, who's been supporting me for quite a long time with the "Macaron Du Chef" tier ! It is thanks to him that I'll have a few things to post even during my hiatus so, huge thanks again !(There hasn't been any update about the ruling for our new house yet, so we're still just packing our things at the moment... We'll see how this goes.)

2021 Hiatus - Important News

Alright, I mentioned it before and here we are. I have to officially announce that starting on the first of August, I will be on hiatus. That is because -as some of you might know already- my family and I are moving. Thing is, it isn't going very well. (More details below.)How long will the hiatus be ?It will last two months. (And possibly more if the judge doesn't get back to us before September but, here is hoping they will...)That's quite a long time... and "judge" ?Yeah, turns out the house we bought is an inherited prop...

Sponty (NSFW OC Commission)

Woo~I'm finally done with this commission !Three months of back-and-forth and multiples delays later, it is complete. I liked working on it, the client was very nice and I liked this character but... Three months, wow.I'll admit I contemplated the idea of giving up and refunding them multiple times. But again, the client was nice and probably had their reasons, plus they were last on my queue so, I can understand.-----Now that *all* the commissions are done, I wonder; Would it be rude for an artist to "blacklist" some of their p...

Catching Waves

I tried to make this as colorful as I could, all while making sure the values still made sense and now that it is done... I'm not sure what to think. I'm glad I went through with the "vibe" I got, it was fun to experiment with a more daring palette but I think it still lacks a little "oomph", some "je-ne-sais-quoi".Guess I'll have to figure that out with my next piece !

Little WIP and Important News !

Hello everyone, and sorry for not posting much anywhere lately, but I can promise you it was not because of laziness !First things first: I felt like sharing this WIP because I decided to allow myself to go a little more crazy with the colors this time, and even if the shading isn't done yet, I'm really feeling some "v i b e" for this one, and I'd love to make it work !Second: You probably know that since the beginning of the year, me and my family have been trying to move out. Well a few days ago, we found a buyer for our c...

Fresh Ink

I wanted to push the lights and rendering a little further than usual and thought some UV paint could work here... It was kind of a last minute addition (as you might see the sketch and the colors didn't really start like this) but as I was working on it, my Aqua drawing got mistaken for Kajinman's work (again...)So yeah, obviously I'm not mad against anyone here, but I might have to reconsider a lot of things. It's pretty discouraging to be mistaken for someone else or seen as someone's imitation despite not even trying to....

May WIP's and bonus sketches !

Alright so, I know I'm still a little low on content lately, but I've prepared the sketch for Marina (1) and the client has validated the flat colors for the Sponty commission (2), which means that I should be able to finish both before next month (if all goes well) !Also, have some bonus sketches (3&4) ! I probably won't finish them because the poses aren't that good, but I've been trying to refine my sketch a little more lately so they could be more share-able with you.

Apolonio Marín Adhemar (Mermay OC)

Here is something that was fun to work on ! I asked people on Twitter for elements to build an OC for Mermay and this is what came out of it.(Here is the template I used, in case you'd like to use it too)I know people don't follow me for male pin-ups (which definitely shows given the lukewarm reception he got there) but male was the given gender and... Well, it was definitely refreshing. And since I'm quite proud of the end result, I decided to post it here too.

Bun-Li and Foxy Han (Get it ?)

Nah sorry, I have no idea how to call this one. I guess the base idea is too silly anyway, I'll have to go with something that makes more sense next time.

April WIP's (2 Sketches + 1 Timelapse attached)

Alright so, since I haven't been able to post some finished pieces in a while, I thought I'd let you know once again that I *am* working on some stuff ! (Quite a lot simultaneously to be honest.)So there is the Chun-Li x Juri rough sketch from last month's poll and also, a clean sketch for the last commission I have on my queue; Sponty for Teh_Cait on Twitter !Hopefully I'll be able to finish both of them soon~

Morrigan X Bayonetta (Commission)

Phew~I did it !It was challenging but I found a way to make it work, that the client liked and that I am quite proud of too. (I tried to go for a mix of soft and hard edged shading, while trying to keep a better 'control' over my colors and I think it worked pretty well !)

Commission WIP (Sketch + Timelapse)

Alright, so I know I don't often share WIP's but I feel like it would make sense here (since I previously mentioned I'd have a slower art output for the upcoming times... gotta post some content somehow~) This is the penultimate commission I got and it is going to be a fairly challenging one so... wish me luck !

Belle & Funky - Original Files + Timelapses

[Get this on my Gumroad page !]

Belle & Funky (Ms Bellum)

It seems that every time I try to meddle with a soft rendering technique, I feel the need to come back to strong, hard edged cel-shading immediately after. It is what comes to me most naturally after all but I still tried to go a little "further" with the colors this time. Tried to make it "pop" a little more; with more saturation, more hue variations, and thicker lines too. (Plus, I thought it gave a pretty fitting "funky" vibe to our redhead gal here.)Feel free to tell me what you think about it !

Slow and busy times ahead (?)

Hello everyone ! I hope you are all doing fine.I am writing this post because there are a few things I've been wanting to address for a while now.You might have noticed that February has not been my most productive month. There are multiple reasons for that, and while I don't really like sharing too much of my personal life on the internet, I feel like the people who support me for my work deserve to somewhat understand why my work got a little more scarce than usual (being mostly limited to monthly rewards and polls, without much else ...

Aqua & Anti-Aqua - Original Files (CSP, PSD)

[Get this on my Gumroad page !]

Anti-Aqua's Special Night

As promised, a small alternative version from my last drawing !

Aqua's Special Day

Aqua getting ready for a special day !I'm still trying to meddle with my rendering style, constantly hesitating between hard-edged cel-shading and softy-softness... but I'll just keep drawing and see where it goes for now.(I'm also preparing a small alt.version for this, so stay tuned !)

Gwyn (OC Commission + Alt)

Commission for Saito Moriyama (@SAIT0MORIYAMA on twitter)

Her Majesty's Oasis - Original Files (CSP, PSD)

[Get this on my Gumroad page !]

Her Majesty's Oasis

Welp, I tried something a little different with the rendering this time. I tried to keep a hard-edged cel-shading for everything but the skin, which I tried to make look "smoother" than usual (using almost only soft-edged brushes for the specular highlights). I think it worked pretty well, but your opinion on this would be more than welcome !

Happy Holidays !

A little late for Christmas, but I couldn't finish 2020 without drawing my OC Miss Tira one more time, Happy Holidays everyone !

Lisa Minci (Genshin Impact)

Well, that one sure was long overdue.I knew going back to a full drawing after a month-long break would be a little tough, but hopefully I managed to make this look decent enough... Hope you like it !Also, I wanted to credit Umeko J (@umekoj0910 on Twitter) for the alternative costume design since I loved her cosplay, but it turns out it was based on Piukute062's art (@Piukute_Maple on Twitter) so... I think I'll just mention both, go check them out !

Casmeridian (OC)

Monthly sketch commission for TheMuteCynic !

Hiatus update

Hello everyone !As we’re reaching the half of this month of November, I thought I could give you all a little update on my hiatus. So, let me start this by saying that I do feel a lot better today. I also feel like I should be able to resume things pretty soon.So far, this “break” has been pretty intense for me. Lots of introspection, ups, downs, conflicts and resolutions you’d only see on your favorite soap-opera… but things are getting better.I haven’t drawn anything this past two weeks, but I have been working on a lot of other t...

Now on hiatus

Hello everyone. As you might have guessed from the title, I have decided to go on hiatus (for an undetermined length of time.)I have previously mentioned on my Twitter that I wasn’t feeling the best mentally and unfortunately, it hasn’t gotten any better. I could go on and explain why I don’t like what I do, why I feel like I’m cheating everyone who supports me, or how my personal life is an absolute disaster right now… But I don’t have the heart to do so. Nor do I have the heart to draw “cute” and “sexy” ladies anymore. Whic...
