Monthly poster prints now available for purchase!
After your guys' feedback I'm happy to announce that the monthly digital posters can now be purchased in PRINT form in the Gildedguy.com shop.They come as full-color 18'x12' posters, with art on both sides. Two posters in one!I'll be updating the shop every month or so with the a new set of posters. Most of my scenes for the animation went through these main phases:1. Storyboard - sync'd major key frames to music2. Rough Animation - sketchy animation, plays out smoothly, but with rough linework3. Cleanup - trace over the roughs in cleaner line work4. Base Fills - dump first layer of colors to solidify the linework5. Shading Lines - adding in highlights and shadows6. Gildedguy vs Bog Update #2
Hia friends, I would like to give you all an update on how things are going. Gildedguy vs BogOf the 9018 frames in the short film, 7744 are completely animated, colored, and sync'd with sound. So basically 85% done. I still have to plan and create the end credits, but that is minimal work compared to the actual animation. The original soundtrack (for the intro/ending) are also being wrapped up, so hopefully there won't be further delays.This has been a grueling project for me, for many reasons. It's quite bad, since I can't get any work done at my desk without the cough/fever/headache-combo sending me back to bed. Gildedguy vs Bog Update #1
Hola Patrons!Just a quick update on the progress of the latest animation. Now that the Twitch Anim Contest is over (woot), I've been steadily getting back into pumping out cuts for Gildedguy vs Bog.The length of the film is shaping up to be ~6 minutes long, and I've completed a good 4 minutes of it. Something I should mention is that I've somehow reverted back to maximizing quality for this one, even though a goal was to "rush" the project to improve my work speed. So I will likely not hit the "end of March" estimate...
