20 years of sailormoon

While I'm on a Sailormoon art streak, I've gathered my courage and tackled the thing I couldn't do for 5+ years: redraw of a redraw. The 2012 version was praised by the crowd, which kinda bothered me because in my eyes it quickly became outdated, as I started delving into Wakfu, general cartoons and intense studies. My art skill improved drastically since then, yet for some reason I feared this redraw thing. Redrawing Sailormoon is very trendy nowadays, I've noticed a particular screenshot going around, today after seeing yet another redraw I kinda felt like doing it /o/ I tried looking at the original as little as possible to keep most of my personal touch so to say.Her right cheek kept bothering me so I slightly edited it afterwards, final-final version is the main pic in the post.Original:And a tegaki doodle from earlier today, coincidentally Sailormoon as well.....I was rusty haha oTL

Huppermage was the obvious and unbeatable crowd favorite this time. It's her year so I felt obliged to draw something. Hated the "lineart" but I knew where I was going with coloring, which was a lot of fun. =w= One of those paintings that had me ultra hyped, literally vibrating with excitement to start coloring. Me loves..Bonus: a little warmup doodle I probably won't bother posting anywhere, saw a cool style earlier today and was inspired by that.

January Wakfu pinup doodle poll

Starting early this month!I'm still enjoying these little polls and doodles that come out of them, so here's another one. The december eniripsa pic turned out so well that I wanna make more in that particular style.I had a patron goal of $100/month to make these polls permanent, several people joined to help pushing towards it, but we're still far from it. I've lowered the goal to $60/month now, let's see if it makes a change. Tell your friends, your neighbors and their dog to join if they wanna see more Wakfu stuff from me....
