Another genie \o/ Somehow they get more personality when the portrait is drawn first.

Working on an oracle genie adopt, will add a colored version + portrait here later.*finishes lineart* *uploads* HMM yes a long ear covered like that is prolly stupid and painful, let's edit \o/Running out of stamina.. Still got a portrait to paint..Final edit: yay done.. Hope it starts some bid wars.. Been missing those on my adopts. u_u9

First thing I've drawn in many days. Here are the progress steps, I feel like I should've stopped at the second to last one. Her eyes weirded me out at some point so I covered them a bit, not so sure about that anymore x_x

Ready linearts that I'm gonna color tomorrow. I hate it when majority of the day is wasted on mentally preparing to draw.. Sketching and figuring out the design is relatively fast, then I make unnecessarily clean lines which take forever and which I HATE too, and bam, it's sleep time already.. Sigh, they'd better sell for more than starting bid..

early adopt concepts

Been wanting to make shadowy creatures with bright, neon accents for a while, now I wanna throw in some citrus theme (can be seen in the eyes for now, thinking where to add it otherwise) but the rest of the body needs to be more interesting. Putting this aside for now, will revisit later. Not scared of them getting stolen since they'll eventually end up looking sooo different from this.

Drawn using my new base. For the first time in forever sai crashed when I was in the final stages of coloring, I'm so not used to saving every minute "just in case" that the crash reverted my progress back to step 3.. Luckily I had saved that at all. oTL Still I didn't give up and remade the coloring..

Been tackling it throughout the day, far from being satisfied with it, will finish tomorrow.. Still can't draw lips properly so I'll be prolly covering them with hands..Final version I think \o/

Deliberately took small canvas (this's 100% size) and rough brush. Feels a lot like tegaki, or old old times when pc I used to draw on was ancient, with a small monitor.. There's something comforting in doing this. I decided to make a small oc life illustration series.May add more later~Ha I think I'm running out of juices for now.

Suffering out new adopts since yesterday TwT First genie + explorer couple was so warmly received that I had to make more. Sadly these are fairly resource consuming, I felt burnt out for little short of two weeks after the first couple :'D But hey I gotta keep trying, maybe I get used to this new adopt format after a while. It's the only way out of the miserable $15~30 adopt price ranges that I see atm.Progress:If I stayed focused I'd already have at least these cheebs done by now. Also gotta doodle their portraits.. Picked up a "project" from 2017 or so. This pic was supposed to be finished if people donate a certain small amount, they did, but instead of finishing the pic and moving on I turned this supposedly random design into a proper OC and drew wayyy more than one pic with her. Still didn't work on the initial pic tho. =w=;;;;; It sat on my desktop this entire time and now I FINALLY have a mood to finish it. \o/Will be updating the post with more progress shots.^ Picked up from where I left it 1+ year ago..And done. I didn't wanna go ...
