[ wip ] Jelly bean sea slug

Idea sketchThere was some conflict about drawing a plastic bag,I thought it needed familiar packaging to feel like an industrial product.Let's think of them as a Agar powder (the transparent material made by making 'Gelidium amansii' into a powder.)ColorThis is the jelly colors that come to mind when I think of Jelly Beans.I like sour jelly, so it has a lot of light jelly color.🐠Soda taste is one of my favorite.I usually prefer a flat style, so I don't use shadows very well. This time I used shadows because I want to real jell...

[ wip ] Horseshoe crab

It is one of the animals that I thought I should draw someday.A while ago, I once drew it with doodle. In our country, they are called 'helmet crab'(투구게).They are not crabs, nor even crustaceans, but cute💕(And I tend to love bottom dwellers.)Have you ever seen a video on how to use their tails? (ref : Youtube link )sketchColorI was contemplating between the two color combinations.I thought about adding a bit of blue (the color of their blood) to the actual color of the brown. Perhaps if I chose brown, it would have a more natura...

[ wip ] Jurassic baby

Jurassic era!Perhaps the most familiar and famous ancient period to us.Dinosaurs are the most famous due to various mass media, but various creatures besides dinosaurs flourished in this era.So I also tried to focus on this part when I was working on it.Ancient frogs, scorpions, spiders, squids...etc.SketchAt first, I was trying to draw them with the same size.It was in the order of sky-land-sea, but in the end, I placed large dinosaurs first and filled the rest of places with small animals.🦕Allosaurus, Brachiosaurus, Kentrosaurus, Gargoyleo...

[ wip / wallpaper ] Triassic baby

It is a series that follows the Cambria and Devonian baby.I'm thinking about whether to do this last and move on to another project or do Jurassic. There are plesiosaurus in the Jurassic... one of my favorite ancient reptile.SketchThe two largest Ichthyosaurs are about 15 metres (49ft) long. The rest are about 1m on average.Sometimes the numbering shown in my sketch is just to match the reference.I think I started numbering reference in early 2020.I first read about the animal on the wiki, and then look for a picture or video.I briefly write ...

[ wip ] Cambrian baby

Drawing a fairy shrimp, I was thinking about prehistoric crustaceans. After actually drawing a fairy shrimp, I received a lot of related comments. So I thought I had to draw them right away😎Anomalocaris is called a monstrous shrimp on some media. When someone describes an animal as a monster, I want to draw them softly and cutely on the contrary...So I chose a color palette that looks mysterious and sweet.Soft blue and purple will be perfect for them..I drew the texture while thinking of gummi. It would be fun to draw other prehistoric marine...
