[ WIP 1 ]Crying Shrimp - Summer

* Concept art1. FanI think the top is a little empty, so I'm thinking about putting the text.like 'Ah~~~~~~~~' or 'Too Hot'2.On of the most annoying thing when I play games is burned damage.I feel really similar in summer.3.The shrimp is going to vacation!Because it lives in fresh water, so must need a tube in the sea😆4.Well, It's faster than I first thought🤣I can simply slow down the frame or adding a few frames for make it slow.I do not know why, but I felt more fun in fast version.Shrimp looks cool and happy.......

*(To Squid tier) : I sent Monthly wallpaper yesterday! please let me know if you didn't get your email. This is yellow fin tuna that I drew in 2014, World Tunas day.I found rough sketch too.(Also i think there are sketches of sharks and dolphins on the back of the paper. Orchid mantis WIP

* DrawingsWIP gifDarker versiontipsI realized that mantis's pose in the low line is almost symmetrical. So I changed the direction of forelegs.I think it would feel more livelier if the poses were varied. And then I changed the size of the forelegs in the top line.Because it was bigger than other's forelegs. We can give a sense of unity or variety in the illustration with adjusting of the size, pose, position... etc.I gave unity to size and spacing. And gave a variety of colors in this picture.Thank you!

Jellyfish bus WIP

* DrawingWIP gifAt first, I thought about the feeling of the ocean like the universe.Kind of ... starship jellyfish 😀But I choose pastel color jellyfish in bright blue background in the end.I wanted to give a refreshing feeling like soda with yummy jelly😋DoodlesTipsBrittle star looks hairy (But I heard it's actually pointy spines)Still, I wanted to gave soft feeling in my picture. The way to do that is to give a color gradation. I wiped the border slightly with an eraser brush.Doesn't it look soft when zoom out?Thank you!

Animal drawings 7

I saw an interesting article about brittle star and jellyfish.I'm really curious about what they think of this starfish as a jellyfish's sight. If it were me, it would be very annoying. As you know, I used to be a jellyfish in my dream🤣But I guess the big creatures in the ocean are usually generous.Anyway It'll be fun to paint it someday.I have drawn various insects, but it is almost the first time drawing mantis has ever been.I watched some documentaries about them mimicking flowers. It's really fantastic fact is, they're n...

Blueberry poison yogurt WIP

I'm eating a lot of frozen blueberries these days.I've been thinking about this since I sketched strawberry one.블루베리 means 'blueberry' in Korean.sketchWIP giftipsWhen I zoom in the picture,I can see the empty holes without coloring and Not smooth fruit shape. If I reduce it, it does not look much, but I think such a small thing influences the overall completeness in this art style.Depending on the art style, you do not have to worry about doing this at all.Sometimes rough painting can be more beautiful.Or in complex art s...

Strawberry poison milk WIP

I'm eating a lot of strawberries these days. And just recently, I drew a strawberry poison dart frog, you know.Suddenly this cute and dangerous idea popped up my head.Maybe the milk drinker will die.... but the package and straw made of recycled paper for the environment.WIP gifThis two pictures are set.So I worked on one canvas at the same time.I used bright colors on a dark background to emphasize the color and toxicity of frogs last time. This time, I choose pastel pink and green for cuteness. To make people not aware of the fact that there...

DrawingsThere is something very interesting about poison dart frogs. They carry tadpoles on their backs.I've seen a documentary about this before.Youtube link (Strawberry Poison Dart Frog | National Geographic. It's short and cute film)WIPI made color thumbnail before I paint..It is very helpful when use many color :)I wouldn't be able to paint quickly without the color thumbnail.Design tipI have a kind of flat art style.I minimize the use of dark and shadow.Instead, I use color to express the boundaries of things. In the first sketc...

My English skills have improved a bit since then, I've reposted it after correcting some awkward sentences and adding a little more detail. What was added in 2025 is underlined.Let's start the trip down memory lane~!First of all, the GIF above is my old study notes on marine life. It's just a copy drawing of a biology/science guidebook. Now we can easily find this kind of material, but back then it was hard and most of the professional materials were in Engl...
