Development Blog - June 2025
Hey all. It’s ya boy, JD, here with a monthly ramble. So, as you know I’ve been hard at work on Chapter 8 so here’s a quick run down of everything that has been going on with that.Firstly, I finished posing the damn thing a week or two ago, so here’s your final render count for that chapter... 1737.I’ve spent the past few weeks on a mad post-working rampage. It’s the first big post-working session since I bought the graphics tablet and let me tell you, it’s helping a huge deal. I’m two thirds of the way through all the post-work ...
Not a God Tier Custom
Here's a God Tier custom request that I was given in advance of their next payment being due, and because I'm nice and they were always reliable, I went ahead and made it. Of course, they cancelled the day before that payment rolled around. No judgement here, you never know what's going on in someone's life that might lead to a surprise cancellation. The lesson was for me not to waste time making a special render for someone until I knew for sure they had paid for it.Anyways, it'd be a shame to waste it, so here it is.And y...
Special Render: A different kind of party
Here's Lucía hosting a different kind of party than she's used to.As mentioned in a previous dev blog, Lucía has had a tiny hair makeover. I won't lie, her previous hair was a bit of a nightmare to pose with and I was getting pretty frustrated with it, so that's the main reason for the change... but there's more to it that I won't spoil. As I said in the previous post, the change of her hair is also lore-friendly but, nope, it's not because she stayed paused for a year or anything like that. I had a minor plot poin...
Special Render Unlock
Here's a silly quick render to punish Moonsong super-fan and known hater of Parker and polished nails, PandaDrummer. I made it, set a custom discord command to publish it that I could use the next time I saw Panda being mean to Parker, and waited... for a total of about 8 minutes.
God Tier Custom
Here's a custom request from J Sherwood who wanted to see Anna Abrahams flexing her acting chops and playing the role of Nancy in Origin Story's "Eternum" movie, particularly the "Nancy unifies Rome" scene. If you've played Eternum, you'll know. All done with Caribdis' permission too of course.
Body Doubles - Evelyn & The Stripper
Crossover render with Origin Story and Office Perks featuring Evelyn and The Stripper... Evelyn's getting the weirdest lap dance she'll ever get... actually, knowing her, probably not.
God Tier Custom
Another custom render request from Maverick of his favorite pairing, but this time he wanted something wholesome, or "something to make his heart melt, not his cock"... I don't really want to know what kind of weird melting appendages he's got, but here it is.
God Tier Custom
Here's a request from JeffersonSound, who ditched the usual movie theme and went for a music theme with a Sisterhood-themed recreation of an album cover for 80s girl punk band The Slits (yeah me neither).
Legend Tier Custom
Here's a custom request from true legend and Evelyn's number 1 fan (and he'll fight any of you... even me), Crow, who wanted to see Evelyn and Sapphire following a wet t-shirt contest on the beach.
GameStoryLog
Hey all,I just wanted to get this site out there for anyone who isn't aware of it yet as I believe/hope it could be something very useful both for players and developers of AVNs.GameStoryLog is a brand new site for tracking your progress on current AVNs, writing reviews and discovering new games. Think of it as Letterboxd for AVNs. No more do you need those messy spreadsheets to track your games (at least that's what I had). It'll keep you aware of any new updates that have been released for any AVNs you play, along with a calendar f...
God Tier Custom
Here's a God Tier custom request from Maverick, in which Inferno does not entirely regret her attempt to escape.
Special Render: Amber Airways
Ladies and gentlemen, welcome aboard Amber Airways. At this time, please ensure that your seat belts are securely fastened, seat backs and tray tables are in their full upright position, and all carry-on items are properly stowed either in the overhead bin or completely under the seat in front of you.All electronic devices should be set to airplane mode, and larger devices such as laptops and magic wands must be turned off and stowed during taxi, takeoff, and landing.During the flight, your captain will be out to invite one lucky passenger into...
Development Blog - May 2025
Hey all!Firstly, as I always like to do after an update, welcome to all the new supporters! I really appreciate your positive feedback and overall support following this latest chapter. With all you newbies showing up, or re-subbing, to show your support, we have once again passed the 500 sub count! I already celebrated that milestone once, so I’m not going to celebrate it again. Plus I know that’s just going to drop down to less than this next month, as is tradition with Oppaiman Store subs.Regardless, you’re all helping with my goal of b...
Legend Tier Custom
Hey all,Here's another legend tier custom request from Vertganti... who wanted, simply, "Moonsong waiting on a street corner for her date".
Legend/God Tier Custom Renders FAQs
Hi all!Naturally, last week saw an uptake in the amount of Legend tier upgrades and, currently, I am still awaiting 14 legends to get back to me with their requests. While many immediately cancelled, they are still due that initial render and I don't want anyone to miss out on the benefits of those tiers. So I figured I'd use this as an opportunity to re-post the FAQs for legend/god tier customs. It's practically the same as the last time I posted it, so if you saw it already, you're golden. How do I contact you about a custom req...

Call to Action: Oppaiman Store
Hi all, I just wanted to thank you all for helping to put Origin Story in the New & Trending section of the Oppaiman Store. It's currently the first game you see when you go to browse, however, that won't last long.Reviews will also help make the game more visible when that entry inevitably drops off the New & Trending section. With the Oppaiman Store it only shows reviews for that particular versions, though the total review score is taken from the reviews across all version. So currently Origin Story has a 94% score with 34 reviews, ho...

Legend Tier Custom
Here's another wholesome legend tier custom request by an anonymous requester... the brief was MC, Evelyn & Amber just "hanging out and playing a game... video/tabletop etc...".Naturally by the time I added my own spin to it, it wasn't so wholesome anymore.

Chapter 7 is now live on Oppaiman Store
Hey all!Chapter 7 is now published on the Oppaiman Store. If you weren't a supporter yet, but you were thinking of pledging today so you could grab it, it would really help if you could grab it through the Oppaiman Store if possible. You'll still be directed to sign up to Trainee Tier here, just with the added benefit of making Origin Story more visible on their Recent Releases/Trending sections and getting some more eyes on the game. You can grab it from the Oppaiman Store here.Appreciate you all!JDOR
