whew! almost to the chapter's halfway point! I was reviewing the script the other day, and realized I miss-numbered a couple of pages...so 2 more pages are added to the total. Estimating around 42 pages now. There's still a lot more swelling to come!
Update on page 16 (and 17)!
While I wanted to post page 16 tomorrow as scheduled, I'm going to withhold it until page 17 is complete. The two work better back-to-back in terms of a big reveal, versus staggered by a week. So, again, no page this week, two pages next!

Ahhh the good old days! True story: the original scene I based panel 2 on was the first time I ever mused out-loud about working on this series someday. Its a scene that always stuck with me.

pencils/inking is almost done, then i'll be scanning it all in for the digital treatment. So far, I should be able to finish everything by tomorrow:)Big reveals happening in the next pages, and then next week we take a stroll down "memory lane". really excited about these next pages and what they mean for the rest of the series!Line art previews coming soon!
not an april fools...
i did get sick on the 1st of april. Is that nature's way of playing pranks? In any case, I'm still weathering through it :/ Nothing "covid"-like, but a leaking nose and constant coughing (plus slight migraine) makes getting art done somewhat difficult. It might be a bit of a blessing, since I'm not 100% happy with the script rewrites. This will give me some time to just do more read-throughs and tighten up the action a bit.I will shoot for a two-page update by next Saturday :) Its only fair!

Hi all. I'll be taking a bit of a break from the comic. i need to do some script adjustments and some environmental designs for the upcoming pages anyways. I'll be back on track with the comic come first week of april:) thanks everyone!
