Horse Biter: Art (PNGs)
Greetings All! (Two Item Day!)The Horse Biter, I crafted this a few months back and has lived in my sketch book since. It is a blast to finally be getting it out, I really thought this would add some versatility to the sword/board table play. For those who like to grapple, I hope it helps out. I definitely enjoyed finally finishing it.If you have ever been bit by a horse, I apologize for the flashbacks you might be having right now. It’s never a pleasant encounter with such a pretty creature.I would love to hear thoughts! Updates: New Art (No ...
Wandering Eye: One-Sided.
Greetings All!A little bit later on the upload today, I’ve had a bit of a brain fog for the past few days now. We have positive COVID in the house so it’s only a matter of time before I’m fully knocked out by it. I hope you stay healthy and safe out there. In the meantime, here is the ‘Wandering Eye!’ affectionately called Peepers but users. I took some time to go over the bark and liquid sheens. I think it turned out for the best! Updates: Line Art Coloring, Texture Adjustments, and Grammar Changes.Hope you enjoy it!Truly as always, t...

Pipe of the Northwind: One-Sided.
Greetings All!5/23/21: Updating the Effects/Layout! Updated to fit in the SRD and some new art retouches.Critter Week has left me without as much to upload/prep, the US election has been a drain on my mental abilities, and we have had a positive testing for COVID in the household, so I am feeling wiped. However, to try and distract myself from that dread I had some time to go over something a little near and dear! This was something near and dear for an interesting item that calls upon the distinctive imagery of the Father of the Northwind. Tuck...

Gregorious Greg Head: Two-Sided & Wide Layout.
Greetings All!Greg’s Head! Back at it with another one of the parties highlighted items and another treasure trove from @cme_t who was amazing enough to provide the insult/threat examples from Greg!I had a great time trying to capture the oddity of this unique spell focus and still contain remnants of it’s Lich-like personality. Obviously some of it is a bit tongue in cheek, like if you take a look at his skills!Definitely a fun one, I would love to hear your thoughts and input. Swing over and take a look at the comic and see some of its fu...

Blade of Brunn: Two-Sided.
Greetings All!Here with something a little special today for my spook item, I covered an item from the incredible Cme_t who’s comic to which I am a massive fan on both reddit and instagram. Just click through the tags or on the story to check it out, the four panels delivery is always a pleasure. This is the Blade of Brunn! Also known as Grognas’ Sword! For this item it had an established bloodlust. So I tied the effect directly to that aspect, experimented with tying damage output directly to sacrificing hit die. While it can dish out a lot ...

Necromancer's Death Mask: One-Sided.
Greetings All!Death Masks are eerie enough as is, tossing in some undead aspects and it becomes even more so! They were molds of the recently departed faces as mentioned, so I tried to imagine a culture where someone took the act a step further in search of power. The idea of a skeletal mask for a necromancer is far from new, but I tried to add some ritualistic sleek aspects. For the spells, if you are not using UA at the table (And Undead Spirit doesn’t end up in Tasha’s) feel free to sub in Animate Dead for known spells. If you want to real...

Bone Shepherd's Halberd: One-Sided.
Greetings All!Back with one of my favorite items! The Bone Shepherd’s Halberd, which fit perfectly into the spook season themes and a high one on my list for a retouch and some older eyes. Still very much inspired by Ox-Tail soup!I added a lot of texture and more dimension to the bones with the new shadows and highlights, but all and all it’s still that item I know and love. I had a blast with digging it out and I hope you get some awesome use out of it at the table. Nothing says fun like sewn vertebrae smashing into your enemies. Updates: ...

Watcher's Eye: One-Sided.
Greetings All!Something a little different today, more of an encounter, trap, or defensive item that is used for warding places against simpler creatures/players. Inspired by a very simple anti-pest device I encountered on my travels last month designed for exactly this.Hung in a high area this scares birds as a massive eye of a predator watches them and reflects light, so expanding it in size and adding a glow it stands to logic it could scare a lot more. Planned as a defensive line for nightly camps to aid the parties in the wilds, or an enco...

Wailing Shield: One-Sided.
Greetings All!Stories of the wailing woman have always fascinated me, and my love of shields is widely documented so combining the two just seemed like the perfect fit. Trapping a banshee within a magical item seemed just too good to pass up.Normally the DC would obviously be higher for a magical item, but this is a TPK waiting to happen so.. It is lowered and intended to not kill everyone instantly. However, giving it to a skeletal warrior or death knight makes the effect all the more unexpected and terrifying for the party.Loving the feel and...

Gravekeeper's Lantern: One-Sided.
Greetings All!This one is a blast, I had the idea last year but I wasn’t quite sure how to execute it without it being overpowering, and thus the balancing was born. The tying Proficiency directly to Challenge Rating really helped this one click in ease of use for table play, and can be varied as you see fit! This can very easily be opened up from half prof to full proficiency depending on table need, I left it at half to not be overwhelming to manage at the table. The full proficiency at later levels can help players out against ghost & wrait...

Babylon Candle: One-Sided.
Greetings All!Tis the season, this seemed to fit the same theme I am going for the rest of this week.As some of you might know, this was inspired by Stardust. A film/book by one of my inspirational authors Niel Gaiman. This item is in turn based off an old story rhyme, which is partially included in the quote for the item cards.I tried to capture the uniqueness of such a strange but sought after item. Coming back to it, I like it just as much as the first time.Updates:Shading, Line Art, Flame Effects, Grammar, Gleams.Hope you enjoy it!Truly as ...

Cavalry's War Prick: One-Sided.
Greetings All!On the minor tier of Rare, but oh so much fun to do. I admittedly got lost in the little details of this one, and if I had more time in the day I would have continued to do so.Given the damage type and minor magic ability, I hope it finds a great home despite not being an immediate jaw dropped. I know there is at least one person out there who will benefit from the often overlooked aspect of a ‘Trained Mount’ versus untrained.Get that direct control! This goes without saying, the mount needs the proper anatomy to be a mound and...
