Dungeon Mapster post Mountain Pass (Hi Res) from patreon

Mountain Pass (Hi Res)

Hey all. An extra special oversized map this week. When I began working on this, the Mountain Pass had a comfortable lead in the March Map Poll I'd put up, but it's since been overtaken by the Majestic Mansion. Who'd have thought?I'll be glad to stretch my creative muscles on a large building after such a large wilderness scene!

Mountain Pass (Free)

Narrow paths snake along the cliffs, cramped with thick evergreens, brush, and boulders. The road is pleasant, and the view even more so, yet the great mountain casts a long shadow over the path ahead...This one took some time, and my schedule has grown far busier than I'd prefer over the last week, but I hope this double-sized map makes up for the wait.

Mountain Village (Dry Variant)

The variant map I mocked up in the video tutorial. This place could sure use some rain!

Dungeon Mapster post Map Tokens ($50 Goal Reached!) from patreon

Map Tokens ($50 Goal Reached!)

We reached our goal of $50 per map, which means a bunch of token pngs as a patron perk! These are pulled from my maps, ready to toss into photoshop or roll20 for some easy map dressings.I'm sure I'll wind up making some more token packs for further map dressings for all you other mapsters out there!I also want to say a special thanks to every one of you that helped us get here. This little hobby of mine is quickly growing into a financially viable option for me, which is an absolute dream I hadn't expected.Thank you so much,Ryan

Mountain Village

Hey all. I spent this week tinkering with some perspective options, and I think I'd like to do more maps in this semi-isometric style, in addition to the classic top-down view of battlemaps. This one is a village that ought to serve as a nice companion piece to the Mountain Pass map so you all have been voting on in the poll for this month.

Photoshop Introduction: Working with my PSDs

Hey all! It's been a hectic week. I figured I would make a quick little video showing my workflow in photoshop that should allow my $2 backers to understand how I put my PSDs together a little bit better.I plan to do more of these, but more specific requests and questions would be super helpful in deciding what to focus on next!As always, huge thanks to my patrons for supporting my work. I hope you find this useful.

March Map Poll

Well, we did the Village Square and the Smuggler's Sewers last month, which were the two most highly voted choices in the poll. What are you guys thinking for this month?Comments would really help me deliver to you guys what you'd like to see!

The Blessed Altar (Variant Map)

The Cursed Altar wasn't always such a perverse place. Once, it was a home of fellowship, warmth, and kindness. Perhaps it can be again...Variant map for the Cursed Altar, available only to my patrons! I hope you all enjoy. As always, variant maps are a patron perk.

The Smuggler's Sewers (Hi Res, gridded and clean)

The only thing more distracting than the steady slosh of the filthy water is the horrible stench coming from it. That, and the rumors of crocodiles, cave-ins, and wandering gelatinous monstrosities is enough to keep all but the most foolhardy from exploring this forgotten network. It's no wonder that criminals and thieves might find such a spot a convenient hiding place to store their pilfered wares, yet adventurers might do well to remember that any thief shrewd enough to use this place would certainly add extra security, in the form of tra...

Hey y'all. Here are the hi res, gridded and ungridded versions, plus a png of the building interior that can be added to roll20 and dragged in over the map for players venturing inside.

The Isometric Inn (Free Version)

This was a bit of an experiment, but I'm really pleased with how it turned out!I always wanted to try an isometric map with a revealed interior, so I gave it a shot. I don't plan to do these all the time, but now and then I will probably make one up.Let me know what you think!

Village Square (Hi Res, Gridded and Ungridded)

Hi resolution versions! We just hit our first goal much earlier than I'd ever expected, and the poll heavily favored the Village Square map, so here it is. I thought you all would be getting tired of these outdoors scenes, but I guess I was wrong!I had a lot of fun working on this, including trying a few new techniques out with varying degrees of success, and I felt that this one worked best. For the next map, I'm thinking of doing some building interiors and the like, and pretty soon I definitely want to do an actual dungeon.

Village Square (Free Version)

The dirt road turns to cobblestones in this quaint country village. The ring of the blacksmith's hammer echoes through the square, and a small inn waits for weary travelers, the faint clinking mugs inside is music to your ears. But could this charming village be more dangerous than it seems? Do its inhabitants harbor more than pleasant smiles tucked away behind closed doors?Nope, it's just a normal village.

Forest Campsite Extended (HQ)

Hey all,I ended up extending this map for a game I ran with my group, so I thought I would put the whole thing up here free of charge. This map is fairly large, so I don't want to set a precedent, but as I only just released one and it isn't "new" map, and I won't be charging patrons for more than one map per week even if I do extra versions (which I plan to), so this one is a bonus.Anyway, I hope you have as much fun with it as we did!

Forest Campsite (HQ, with tent and tree tokens)

In my Tears at Bitter Manor game, my players are currently searching through the forest, investigating the disappearance of missing rangers and civilians, which inspired this map.I've added some extra goodies too, like an altar to a forest goddess, all but invisible under her canopy of falling leaves. This map also includes a couple png tokens, one of a pair of trees that can easily be uploaded to roll20 and dragged over the map to conceal this altar from players until they pass that perception check to notice it.I hope you all enjoy. Happy ...

My first attempt at making an interactive style map! The full version comes with a png image of those concealing trees, ready to add to roll20, so dm's can drag it away to reveal a forgotten altar if their players are perceptive enough to notice!I plan to add features like this to more of my maps if you all enjoy them.
