Fairy chibi reveal + Devlog #094 + NPC poll #08 is on!
Fairy! Smol!I wanted to focus as much as possible on the cutscenes this month, so I figured it would be a good time to draw the fairy chibis. Since she's so small, it took a bit less time ^^Thankfully unlike Kobold last month her design isn't too intricate, so there weren't really any details I had trouble representing on these sprites. The face was still a bit of a challenge, but I figured it out! I did choose to give her only one grape for the chibis instead of the two she has in her full sprite though. So yeah, once again very hap...

Kobold chibi reveal + Devlog #093 + NPC poll #06 is on!
There she is, Kobold!I'm especially happy with how she turned out. I think she might be the cutest chibi so far! She took quite a bit of work. Not only is her design more complex than most of the other girls, I also had to cram all these details while keeping her small (she's about as short as Goblin). This basically resulted in pixel art in many cases, but it was well worth it. You also get to see the front of her outfit for the first time! ^^I got very, very busy this month. It was pretty much one thing after the other, both IRL and w...

Mud elemental chibi reveal + Devlog #092 + NPC poll #04 is on!
Mud elemental! :BI'm very happy with how well this chibi set reflects her personality. As one of the first monstergirls I drew, she was actually in the old demo! I remember coming up with the idea of the leg vases, and these chibis illustrate how they work better than her battle sprite. They can fold like normal legs, and I even did an additional sprite where she entirely hides inside. Her head decorations, for lack of a better term, are actually the vases' lids! You also get to see one of her eyes in the 'fall' sprite. ^^I also...

Kitsune chibi reveal + Devlog #091 + Monstergirl poll #30 is on!
Chibi Kitsune! She generally has more subdued movements, but I still wanted her to have some fun poses. I'm very happy with the way I took advantage of her tail ^^Just like last time, I did a bunch of stuff this month! Everything I wanted to do, and more.First of all, I improved the rank up animation! The old one was pretty lame, which is a big flaw for a BE game. I worked especially hard on it, and the result was worth it! It's definitely going to be one of these things I'll want to put in the trailer and on the Steam page. While I...

Ghost chibi reveal + Devlog #090 + Monstergirl poll #29 is on!
Ghost chibi! What do you think? I'm especially happy with the result this time! This is probably the sexiest chibi yet, which would make sense for a character who got the "Lusty" modifier ^^She was a lot of fun to draw and think up poses for, and the lack of legs and hands made it easier as well. She's also the first floating character I've ever drawn chibi sprites for! Floating characters have slightly different animation in the overworld. These are all already implemented from years ago, I just never had a reason to use the...

Updated Goblin reveal + Devlog #088 + Monstergirl poll #27 is on!
Gob!Just like for Nightmare, I suddenly got the urge to redraw her (though that was over a month ago now). I ended up changing her pose and made a bunch of small changes to her design, though she's still very easily recognisable. I improved her colors a bit too, with an overall more saturated palette. I'm very happy with how she turned out. She probably took the least time to draw out of every girl too! Which probably has to do with how small she is to be honest. And by the way just in case you're not sure, Goblins are just small! T...
