can't sleep must post..these arepages of sketchbookblog:don't think i've overshared this month yet.. which is what i said i'd do for $3 so here goes: i haven't had a full night's sleep in weeks. the last time must have been in early december. ever since theepisode, i've been averaging 4-6 hours, generally closer to 4. on top of that every day i've been drawing about 10-12 hours, then manically posting to patreon because i can't sleep. when i'm too tired to draw or post anymore i go to bed and stare at the...

0$ Tier -> Collections -> OC art folder

For optimal Free Membership Experience, go to the Collections tab at the top and check out the OC art folder. Otherwise you'll be scrolling through a bunch of paywalled posts (mostly sketchbook). You do have to join the patreon to see it though, it costs 0$, (or 0€ for those of you across the pond..)OC art is being funded by patron support, but sfw art will not be paywalled. That said if you do actually fw it and can afford to spare a cup of coffee.. I could really use one. No need to sign up if you're looking for free porn, there isn...

started drawing with a brush marker a lot last year, need some like proper real brushes for inking ofc but.. gonna need to try out a bunch and they're very expensive... i don't want to order online because the hairs can be split and that's $35/brush wasted.i do recommend the tombow dual brush markers i've been using tho, they are great all purpose sketching markers and quite cheap, and, you'll be excited to know, both caps post on either end.. Also great variety of colors THOUGHEVER the coverage is kinda, like, soggy? idk th...

they call me the good duck artist

drew a lot of donalds and scrooges when i was burnt out last year. this was actually incredibly helpful for stylized and simplified anthro characters. yes i am from sweden how could you tell

thanks!! he brought you fika!!

woah, this is actually taking off a little quicker than expected, both in terms of members and patrons. thanks so much!! i don't actually have a posting schedule figured out yet, heads up 😅. going to try to find the right balance between the pinups, OC and sketchbook posts. i'll be tied up with comms for most of the month, but i now have something of a wedge to produce some work in between.

sketchbook + patreon status

art:yeah I'll be digging through the pile of sketchbooks. don't have much to say about a lot of it because it's either stuff i was kicking completely off the dome, or stuff from abandoned projects. well, i could say a lot about all my failed projects but idk, not my favorite thing to talk about lolalso sorry the pics are shitty, but don't have a scanner. will buy one once the patreon moons..anyway 'engagement', likes etc. are feedback. if anything, it just lets me know that the pics aren't falling on deaf ears.. or e...

sketchbook

decided to start uploading from my sketchbooks as well..the OC posts will remain completely gratis, but sketchbook posts will be locked at $3+ (i may move it higher, we'll see). it's not meant to be an Exclusive Paywalled Perk with scintillating content (i'm driving the point home that there's no perks here, beyond just the art i post). just something for the eyes of real ones only, i think.so tiers and what you'll unlock access to:0$ - OC art3$ - sketchbook gallery5$ - nsfw gallerythe higher tiers will be for people who wan...

curious if this is a perk or nah

thinking of things to do with the patreon. never ever in a million years wanted to post stuff from the sketchbooks, but might have to start doing it. (cw: none of this has anything to do with furry porn or cum or cummies or penises or balls)there's basically 2 things you need to do keep developing at a skill like this. practice and personal projects. i don't do either, because neither make any money.not that i've cared much about money of course, but my landlord does.. so i'm only ever doing client work. this is a great way to d...

svensi

i'm pretty much back to working on comms all day ever day, 7 days a week. The standard operating procedure. now don't all rush to unsubscribe at once, as I actually think I fulfilled my obligation to post, at minimum, $20 worth of work this month, which was all I promised when i made my little sales pitch. Anyway this pitch saw a dramatic 50% increase in gross income this month so! next month I will try to post at minimum $30 of work! I've made a little financial breakdown at the bottom of the post.i've removed the subscriber nu...

abortive patreon stuff from last year

this current wave of posting is actually something like attempt #3 at coming up with something original to do for the patreon, but all the other stuff was pretty behind the scenes and never really went live. basically what happened was, an art friend convinced me that the only way to get people interested in a patreon was by having a large back catalog of finished work behind a paywall, 6 months minimum. now no offense to the person who put this idea into my head, as i consider them friend, but this is fucking impossible unless someone is payin...

blogging

feels natural to include some random thoughts when i make i post. never once felt the remotest urge to let the world know what was on my mind on twitter, bsky or furaffinity. idk about you but for me it feels weird to addresspotentially thousands of people.. but this is a private little club for interested parties only. So it's finally time to finally give my opinion about ronald blumpf and all the latest fighting game DLC (kidding, i only talk about art).

tittut

starting to get a real feel for this weird little thing, he's coming out of the pen quite effortless now

c'm'ere

haven't considered patreon as a social media platform itself bfore.likes and comments are feedback here just as anywhere else. So! Even if you're a free member, you can let me know what's working.

january pinup

there will beI can't promise much nsfw and pinups yet, but I might be able to manage one a month. They'll be at the $5 ~!

24/sven

working on OC. Posting as often as I'm able in the #WIPS channel of the former smokes (current sven) discord. I'll be posting it to patreon too.

not really a ref

just a turnaround

this week in sven

I'll be putting up the stuff I've been working on from the discord WIP channel from this past week. Pics will be be for patreon members, but you can join at 0$ to see them.

testing 1 2 also say hi to sven

I am at long last working on ART. Much of it is still very much in WIP form because of how completely swamped with work I've become, which is also why this place has gone unpromoted for the past 4-5 years. But I am committed to making this happen, I am working round the clock, more is on the way!!

overdue overhaul

OKay this has has been overdue for 2 years, but it's time to rethink the patreon. All of the old tiers, (early access/hi-res/PSD etc.) are being replaced with general all purpose support tiers for my original art, which I'll be posting on this account, and is where I'm hoping to focus most of my creative energy this year. At the moment I haven't thought of any rewards for these, but I'm sure some will present themselves as this project gets off the ground. Thank you for your continued support.

Lossless Archive

Due to the way I sort stuff, which is by date started and not date finished, some pics currently getting uploaded to twitter will still end up in the 2022 folder. So hi-res pics are still being added, even if they're not in the 2023 folder.

Archive Errors Fixed

I have a desktop application for Mega which is supposed to automatically keep my locally stored work files and hi-res pics synced with the mega archives. Apparently it's not uploaded anything since some time last summer, something which I was not aware of until now (it seems to have worked smoothly for years). I'm sorting it out now, sorry for the inconvenience.

Updates

Hey!As previously mentioned, this will be the last month for the Hi-res and PSD archives as patreon reward tiers, they will then be retired until further notice, maybe they'll be back at some point if there's a large demand for them, but that seems unlikely lol.Replacing those reward tiers will be a monthly patron-approved YCH. Here's how it works: Using the patreon discord channel, I will post a YCH, after which patrons can each submit a character (no copyrighted characters). These will then be compiled in a poll for voting in a po...
