Breaking light
I shot this set with wonderful Katline during one of my workshops in our studio Schwarzweissmalerei in Solingen. In this studio I love to shoot against the light which creates moody images, but in this particular set I tried to push it to break some of my own rules of lighting.Trying such thing is always a very narrow line, you got to be careful and be honest to yourself. Anna visited us lately and due to a short term cancelation of a coaching, we had the chance to shoot a couple of pictures by ourselves. And yes, you are seeing right, I did use a flash :) Till October during my events in Tarifa and Zahara I haven't used a flash at all. But there I fell in love once again with this glamour-trash look that on camera flashes create. Quick & Sunny
This years Tenerife events was really crazy when it comes to the weather conditions. We had cloudy weather almost all of the time, for two complete weeks. Only the day before and the day after were completely sunny.Therefore I was more than happy, that on one evening the sun came out right before setting.
