I have also finished it in 5 hours which is absolutely Record time for me, so clearly the sketch-->colour-->lineart type of colouring has made me massively faster. otherwise I'd say my usual time for something like this would be around 10-12 hours. So yay! Such time saver and it looks only slightly messier;;; I'm fairly pleased and it seems more fun to work this way;;

Apparently if I colour first and then do lineart almost halfassedly and not as clear as I usually do, finishing a drawing takes far less time? And it's...I don't know, but I feel like I can understand colours better if I go without lineart first. I'm also trying to experiment with colouring approach in general, as in how I choose colours.. Back then I relied too much on overlays and didn't really / think / on what colour to pic, but now I kind of want to focus more on atmosphere of the piece? If it makes sense;; But for now I...

see seeeee? That's the new flat colouring I was experimenting on, and I think I really like it? I didn't even do shadows yet and it already looks a bit shaded, and not as plain as my previous one was and I"m so so happy someone on instagram live asked me if I knew any marker like brushesaskdajskd

I think I may be onto something new and slightly different with colouring so I was just playing around with that. Not that it ended up being too different, but some stages are and it's making me consider some things....It looks much better with no lines Bbbbuut I might be too big of a coward to ditch the lines because I have no idea what I'd be doing then..Either way we'll see how this slightly-different-type-of-colouring would work.
