Some WIP images showing earlier stages of the four page comic. There was an interesting point in the process where I had to decide if I want to do a black or a white backdrop. The decision to make it dark opened up the opportunity to let the spiraling thoughts bleed above the panel edges and break with the formatting to underline the distress showcased. When I started to get back into drawing a while back I still very much felt exhausted rather quickly when working on one drawing alone, so this one somewhat ended up unfinished for the simple reason that I moved on before I could finish it properly.It is a nice little echo to the drawing posted before that with this one being more situated in the timeline of the games' story.Seeing it now makes me want to pick it up and try my hand on it again eventually!

To put it bluntly, Oikawa is giving me a hard time and I've not felt comfortable enough with the work so far to finish it properly. This very fun concept I thought of the other day for a collab work with XPPEN proved itself quite the challenge when it came to face angles. As you can see in an earlier stage, I had Hinata facing more forward mostly because I didn't get the face to a point I liked. But with the face turned and the pose somewhat shifted, it lost some of it's energy and drive upwards, so I took a breather and revisited the drawing a little later to get it closer to what I mapped out in the sketch. WIP Progression | It's the small things
