It seems like finally I'm starting to introduce more closeup/detail shots in my workflow. I really love them, many times even more than the full body ones.This one I wanted to feel very intimate. To make this a photograph where the breasts of the model draw all the attention without being "in your face". PS. Yes, I know that with breasts like hers they'll always get all the attention no matter what I do. Still, you get what I mean.

A Part of the Whole
From earlier this morning. Yes, this photograph was shot today, earlier this morning. Also it's the first image I snapped. The very first! It's rare for me to fall for the very first image but there it is, I really love this one.This photoshoot was the fastest I've ever done for #thebodyportrait. I believe our total shooting time was about 3-5 minutes. Why? It's autumn and we were up on the mountain at 7 o'clock and at 1°C temperature. Think about how cold the rocks themselves are. Reflections

Playing with Lingerie Patterns
I'm kicking off September and autumn with a more artistic approach! This time of the year is about that warm, mooyd sun light and lots of beautiful shadow. Just look into the details of this one. I really like how reavealing it is but at the same time not really. How do you find this type of images - do you like photographs with that level of subtle nudity or do you like a more flashy approach?

The Wet Look (RAW)
We were actually doing just wet hair when for the fun of it we decided to go for the whole body. Looking at the images now I'm thinking I'm going to do a whole-body-wet-look photovideo shoot! I believe it's going to produce amazing results!Also, I'm finding applying something reflective to the skin such as simple water or a shimmer product, maybe some kind of oil, does a great job of minimizing skin imperfections. What I'm trying to say is if you want to reduce the need for retouch do apply something of the sort to the skin....

It's funny how our perception changes with time. I took this image back in February '21. Like always, starting curating the images from the shoot a few days after. At the time I'd marked this one for deletion! It is just now I applied one of my newer presets to it and am blown away! This image is now easily one of my favorite images of Denaya. Nelina Realtime Posing in Studio (Light Setup 3/3)
In contrast with the previous two setup I'm using soft light here. I believe there're two main takeouts here:1. I have a flash aimed at the model but I'm blocking the direct beam using a big card close to a wall. Essentially, the model is lit by the light bouncing of the wall. I'm doing this in order the create a very thin, tall strip of soft light (kinda like a DIY strip softbox).2. The way I give more dimension to her body by introducing deeper shadows. Hello guys, and here's the second setup we shot! Hard light again, only this time I'm going for lighter shadows.1. Again, light hasn't moved, it's still 4-5 meters away from the model and again is coming through a doorway. This time I'm using the doorway to create a shape of light on the wall behind her. I'm also using big pieace of foamboard to further shape the light. You'll see I'm changing it a few times throughout.2.
