Bedtime Stories (The Blue Hour Extended)
Lighting here looks pretty straightforward, the only little twist is there is a flash involved. It’s very subtle and it’s only purpose is to build upon the existing light on the scene.In the set with the nightlights turned off. There’s a flash in a rectangular soft box just outside camera left, it’s window high and pointed almost towards me thus feathering it and giving just a sliver of light which shapes the body as if light is coming from the windows. The Blue Hour
I consider it to be the most magical time to do photography or shoot video! It begins right after the sun goes below the horizon. Just keep in mind you'll have a short amount of time with enought light intensity so use it wisely!I'm working on more images from this set which will be available in my Premium tier over the weekend as well as a behind the scenes video. I'll also share some notes on the lighting here. Just a headsup there's a flash in the mix, and yes the clouds are really there and look like this.
Bikini Check (Boomerang)
I got inspired from a similar video on Instagram! In said video, to achieve those crsip shadows of the lingerie, the girl there was laying in direct sunlight. I wanted to try and achieve a similar look with Denaya but indoor and with lights. I used the constant light on my flash head and put it as far away as possible from the model to achieve the "sunlight" look. Voila!
Lazy Sunday Mornings... (Extended)
Good mornig and happy start of the weekend!!Lighting here is basically what you see - as soft as light gets. It's all because it's a semi-cloudy weather outside and there's no direct sunlight in the room. Even though It's a very small everything-white space with a lot of windows, all of which are present in the photo, light is very directional, that's why there're a lot of dark shadows.I have beautiful behind the scenes footage for this set and more and it's coming soon!!
