Yea you misunderstood, their numbers are only for identification, it has nothing to do with them being disqualified, the one that they were referring to that was disqualified was the guy whose arms hisoka(clown guy) disintegrated . So there’s 404 people left .

Again, Naruto was inspired by HxH. If you love Naruto (which you clearly do), you're gonna love this anime and you'll definitely notice the similarities in character personalities and minor plots. Kishimoto said it in an interview that the HxH author (Yoshihiro Togashi) was his fav author. Excited to see more of this! BUCKLE UP SWOLE GANG

No no. You misunderstood. The one thats disqualified already is the one that lost his arms. So there are only 404 contestants left.

just to clear up a few things without spoilers: 1. It said Hisoka all but killed an examiner which means he hurt him pretty bad not murdered him. 2. The 1 person disqualified is the guy whos arms got cut off. (the flower petals were censorship)
