🕑 Added 2025-02-11 10:15:25 +0000 UTCHey , i guess ive never stated what the original scope/plan of the game was so im not sure if it'll come as a disapointment but id rather be honest and say im downscoping the game from it, i don't think it is reasonable for me to complete it within any reasonable time frame and even if i had infinite time im almost certain i would run out of steam before the finish line.
So whats getting cut/scrapped/downscoped
Mostly combat modeling, animating and coding enemies is pretty time consuming and it basically shifts the balance between Game/Porn only one way (I didn't plan on implementing any mid combat sex mechanics) so i estimate the balance would have been 80% Game/20% Porn
Along with combat the AI Node system will most likely go mostly unused or very sparingly used
Most of the RPG mechanics (Will probably stay around the level of Hole Dweller)
The current "story" if you can call it that is going to be rewritten to fit the new scope (stated on plan)
Smaller map
And thats it, sex system animations customization and character models will stay the same (appart from clothes (alternate clothes will stay))
Whats the plan
Wolf character will be rewriten to be the owner of a mansion and you'll be!
Maid service which entails tidying up the place and such, the main way in which you'll do so is by brooming (If anyone has played dustforce it will be something like that but way less punishing and way easier to pickup)
As you tidy up the place you'll unlock more rooms to have events with the wolf and such, there will be 2~4 characters on the final release
This scope seems way more reasonable and perhaps even something more people would enjoy, im not sure how many people out there want to bust out combos and a nut at the same time
And thats the gist of it, i could get into more details and such but right now i just want to get a build of this done, if anyone has any questions about the game feel free to ask.
Once again pledges will stay closed untill a build worth playing is out, and if you have pledged within the last 90 days and want a refund please message me to do so even then, as far as i understand it you won't get charged as long as pledges stay closed so you can keep the subscription untill i release something download the game build and then unsubscribe.

Even with the lower size of the world (you won't just be restricted to the inside of a building) i hope the game will be as sandboxy as HD as in you can neglect parts of the game you may not like by doing other stuff and such (the thing underneath is a copy pasted response from the F95 thread) The levels of submission will be on the same tier as a plumber cleaning up the pipes on a womans house, i get the word maid may have some connotations to it, but you won't be getting your ass slapped and pulled off a leash while dusting off a shelf (sorry to those who were hoping for that)

Don't mind the turn away from combat, but going from an open world sandbox to being a maid cleaning rooms as a servant/employee is kinda a departure from what I liked about HD, but I am curious as to how it will turn out.

The only thing that makes me sad about the new direction is that I'm not sure if pregnancy will be added to this new story as a kink like in Hole Dweller. I'm just not sure how you could implement it into the gameplay, but I'm still interested in seeing where this game goes.

I'm happy to see you downscaling, to be honest. Combat in sex games hardly ever works out, but the way you were doing it seemed like the best way it could be implemented. I do really like the new story you have for the game and I look forward to seeing it. And yeah, don't burn yourself out.

Either way I am looking forward to it, shame you couldn't keep the combat but ultimately I think the knew scope is awesome and more accomplishable from what you posted. Hope the development goes smooth.

Was kinda looking forward to the combat gameplay, but I'm also glad you are aware of your limits. This is hardly bad news!

While i am a bit disappointed the combat is being scrapped. This sounds also pretty fun. Plus i like my porn games to have well... porn. So it sounds good and clear to me! I'll stayed subbed cause i know you'll do great and it'd be better if you had sub money. Thank you for your transparency.
