Automation Devlogs Part 1 & 2
🕑 Added 2025-04-16 18:25:52 +0000 UTCI've almost finished work on the automation update now, and I've made two devlogs about how it went.
The first devlog is all about the sprinklers and is already public on Youtube.
The second devlog covers the development of the auto-harvester and auto-planter machines, and will be released in a week's time. But you lot get early access of course ;) You can watch it here.
It's still going to be a little while before the updated version of the game and code are available though. I've got a few loose ends to tidy up and I'm going to the UK tomorrow to visit my family over Easter, so it might be another couple of weeks. Sorry about that!

It all looks amazing! Regarding the piping system,,, you could always have a groundwater pump connected to the sprinklers? Similar to the well object you already have, if you think the piping system is too much for this game style. My main gripe with that would be taking up too much space in the bed though - maybe a hosepipe connecting pump to sprinkler over 3-4 tiles? I imagine that might be a bit complicated to code however!
