I opened it with powershell and it gave me this : The string is missing the terminator: '. + CategoryInfo : ParserError: (:) [], ParentContainsErrorRecordException + FullyQualifiedErrorId : TerminatorExpectedAtEndOfString

Have you tried running it using the command prompt? This will show the error message saying what the problem is. If you're on Windows then you can do this by doing shift+right click in the folder where the jar file is, and then choose the option that says something like "Open command prompt/PowerShell window here". Then in the command prompt type: java -jar Equilinox_0_30_Windows.jar Let me know what error message it gives you.

Hi, don't know wether I'm being an idiot or not however when I open the windows version of equilinox that I just downloaded nothing happens :/ Am I doing anything wrong?

There's not much you can do to fix that in the current version unfortunately, but in the new version (which will be available to you in 2 days time) there are options to change the display size. Out of interest, what is the resolution of your computer's display?

Update: I just found out the information bar is hiding behinde the windows bar where you can close the windows..... what can i do?

Hi. I'm sorry I waste your time but when I start Equilinox and open a world, the information bar on the top left does not show up. I reinstalled the game but nothing changed. Can you also tell me how i can make the game fullscreen? I probably did something wrong...

Hi, When I go to open the file it just opens a console and then does nothing. I have downloaded Java and restarted my pc. Still nothing happens. any advice would be appreciated

i installed java but when i try to play say equilinox is not responding i just able to see the first screen how can i fix it

All you need to do is to download the jar file, and then if you've got Java installed then you should be able to double click on the jar file and it should run. If not, then try right clicking on the jar file (after downloading it) and choose "Open with..." and then something like "Java(TM) Platform SE binary"
