I haven't had too much time for development since the last release due to being in England with my family for a couple of weeks over Christmas and working on those two end of year videos before that, so the only updates this month are a few audio changes.
There are now more sound effects in the game (such as biome ambient sounds and a buzzing sound for the bees), and the ambient sound system was also redone so that background sounds now no longer get duplicated. The "sound" slider in the music tab now also works correctly.

Thanks for all your suggestions and feedback over the last month! I haven't had much time to make many of those changes yet, but I'll be working through them this month while I'm doing marketing for the game. If you have any more things that you think could be improved with the game then please let me know (preferably by email, thinmatrix@gmail.com, because Patreon doesn't always notify me when I get comments here).
Next month's release should be pretty much the finished version of Equilinox!

You'll need to have Java installed to run the jar file. Then you might be able to run it by simply double clicking on it. If not, then right click on the jar file -> open with... -> Java(TM) Platform SE binary (or something like that). Hopefully that should work :)

Hi, are you going to be adding different world size options so that people can have a small, medium or large sized world?

Hey, thanks for letting me know about this. The selection bug is something I know about and is to do with the algorithm I use for selecting object - this will be fixed soon. I'll also try and fix the autosaving issue you mentioned, and I do plan on adding a creative mode at some point :) Until then you can actually use a cheat in the game: shift + M gives you more DP and shift+U unlocks all the species.
Hey, just found out about this game a few days ago, was immediately impressed and became a patron! But I think i'm coming across a bug, where suddenly i can't seem to select any plants or animals, just rocks, seems to happen around 1-2 years into a play session and goes away with saving and loading the save again, also another bug is that at the autosave each day, animals dart all over the map before returning to where i put them. Also, would you be able to make a creative mode with unlimited dp so i could just play around? Again, great work!
Thumbs up to screen resolution settings as,... ehmm,... I don't get to see to much of the game when on 4K

Yes, I'm definitely going to add resizing options and a full screen option before release :)
This is great! I have one suggestion though. I recently became a patron and downloaded the game, but the entire game screen cant fit on my laptop screen (Equilinox on the go!:D) Maybe you could add a window resizing function, or different sizes of windows in the options section.
