Happy New Year!

Happy New Year! I hope you have all had a lovely time over the holidays and a good start to the new year. Sorry that I haven't been very active recently but for the first time in a while I've been taking a break to spend some time with my family over Christmas :)
Right now I'm in Germany for a bit because I had to go for my routine check-ups at the hospital in Berlin (due to having mouth cancer last Summer, for those who don't know). I just got the results back yesterday and I'm very happy to report that everything is fine, which as you can imagine is very relieving news for me. I'm back to working on Equilinox now and I'm going to be travelling back to Sweden on Sunday so the devlogs will return next week.
In terms of the Patreon rewards I'm going to try and introduce more perks for the Patreon supporters in the next months. For a start, I'll try to always upload the new versions of Equilinox here first so that you guys get to try out new updates a bit earlier than everyone else. For those of you who use Discord you can join the ThinMatrix Discord server with the rank of "Patron" which gives you access to the Patrons only channel, which I'll try and make better use of in the coming months. The "Coding" Tier Patrons will of course still get access to the updated code each month (I'll upload this month's when I get back to Sweden) and I'm also going to be getting started on making a new low-poly oriented game engine for my future games relatively soon, which you'll also get the code for. I'm also considering a few other fun perks to try and make it more worthwhile for you, such as a monthly raffle-like competition for all Patrons and other things like that.
I'll talk more about these things in future updates and we can discuss it in the Discord channel, but for now I wish you all a great start to 2019 and thank you all for your amazing support which helped bring Equilinox to life!

Hey Karl! I'm a huge fan of the work you've done so far, tutorials included. I'm really happy that you're doing okay, and I hope you're enjoying your break. The idea of a low poly game engine is really interesting, as I'm currently designing/planning to build a small low poly engine in Rust.
