Journaling with Color for Higher Self and Parts
🕑 Added 2022-08-08 12:01:06 +0000 UTCGo to the office supply store and buy a pack of colored pens -- collect the entire rainbow. I literally keep 5-10 different colors of pen in my bag, alongside my trusty standard black pen and my journal. I carry my journal and all these pens with me wherever I go...seriously. I don't leave the house without them because I'm prepared to get stuck in a blizzard, a doctor's waiting room, an emergency evacuation of the country, or a beautiful sunset at the beach. As long as I have my journal, I'm golden. I can get through anything.
The different colors are useful for expressing different sides of my personality, different parts of me. It's a technique for dialogue journaling. It visually separates the ideas on the page. It keeps thing organized so you know which parts of yourself are expressing and you can see (color coded!) how the different parts of your mind are interacting. Freaking magical and pretty! :)
Let me know how it goes. I'll share more about this as we go because it's one of my favorite tips. Love, Cha
