(this ended up being a long comment. oof) while it works in favor of the story sometimes, WEP has a problem of not outright explaining things or presenting them in a simple way. so KOL, just incase you're still confused- in Wonder Egg Ep 10 Koaru is a girl who identifies as a boy. basically a Transgender (which would explain the jacket's colors) except he hasn't physically transitioned. it's implied that reason was because of his trauma but I think he was like that before the incident. Momoko is girl who is mistaken as a boy all the time. she wants to be treated and seen as a girl. all the girls who loved her didn't love her because she was a girl. for them, it didn't matter if she was. idk if anyone explained it to you but the reason for the final episode being in June was because they had to air a Recap ep(8) since they didn't finish the episode in time. so the next available time slot to air the final ep is in June. those last 3 episodes were delayed 4 hours because they almost didn't finish it too. the production behind WEP and even other anime(Like Black Clover) is insane... idk how animators can put up with it.
