Next up: sound
🕑 Added 2023-04-30 11:25:23 +0000 UTCThere haven't been a lot of bug reports for the 6.7 release of OStim which gives me time to start working on the new sound engine. It is intended to replace both old OSA sounds and OSound.
I'll also get into contact with Migal once he's back to see if I can build some API functions into the sound engine that can potentially improve how Naughty Voices interacts with OStim.
Creating the sound engine will take some time, though, as it's not just about the code. I first have to find usable sound files and then figure out how to get them into the game. I have never really worked with sound before, but I'm sure I'll figure it out.
Once the sound engine is implemented I can then finally tackle auto mode.

That sounds like the bug I fixed in 6.7a.

I am very much looking forward to the new sounds mod. I had to revert from version 6.7 to 6.6 to fix the animation issues I was getting with the new version of OStim. Unfortunately, 6.7 even on a completely fresh game and following the directions for installing step by step still leaves my character standing there while the other actor wanders off. I will try upgrading again when the next build becomes available.
