Perdita’s Outfits

My favorite part of painting always used to be rendering. But ever since i got the iPad I started having so much more fun with sketching. Somehow it feels easier, more intuitive. I guess having the option to turn the screen any direction does a lot. Also the tilt and pressure control makes it faster :)But enough of me awing about my new toy, haha. How do you like the sketches? I tried to repeat some of the elements. It makes more sense to me that she uses, for example, the yellow skirt in multiple ways. Also Lif will “steal” some of her piec...

This is the last overdue reward. I'm back on track! Yaaaay! Hope you like the painting! :Dcharacter: Polaristime: 3 hours

NOV24 reward for escapado

I tried a different approach to this painting. More painterly with no sketch outline to better control the colors and values straight from the beginning. Well, I was not satisfied with the result so I started over the next day with fresh eyes. Hope you'll forgive me escapado that I did not include his companion :(character: Phantomtime: did not track yet

NOV 24 reward for Rainspeak

My first Procreate paintings

You bet that as soon as I got my hands on the new iPad I had to jump straight to painting! Here are my two first attempts. I immediately fell in love with the dry ink brush. Also I’m working on a little picture story about how Lfiewedd first turned into a human. Fingers crossed I actually get to finish it before the “creators high” dies down, haha. How do you like it?

OCT 24 reward for Rainspeak - Little Arsenist

This one took me a bit longer. I can’t get used to not having separate adjustment layers. I was tweaking it at least for four hours before I was happy with the colours >:(Character: Yav

OCT24 reward for Kerze

Hello! Here is the first overdue reward painting. It took me about 2-3 hours since I’m not yet in the ~flow. I hope you like it and sorry for the wait. More to come soon!

I’m back!

Hello everyone! I am officially back on track! I was saving money for an iPad. And today is the day I finally have it in my hands! Eeeek! Can’t wait to explore all the new features and possibilities. It may take a while for me to get used to it, so if my paintings look a bit different, that’s why, haha. I’ll catch up with all the overdue rewards and since I see some of you cancelled your subscription (which is very understandable) I’ll upload all the paintings publically. Of course I’ll do my best to get each of them to their rightful...
