🕑 Added 2026-02-03 19:18:38 +0000 UTCQuick Pompey drawing and a bit of a rant. Lately been trying other ways to polishing my art, actually older ways. For some (very long) time ago I had put in my head I needed to make very clean line work for my drawings to be considered good, but this also have been making me feel like my drawings gets stiff or just weird idk I just couldn't like very much and it was also making spent very long time on the line part, so taking very long time on something to not like in the end is very frustrating. This doesn't mean I disliked every drawing I did recently, but there's only a few ones that I still reallyyy like, like my Oni Orc one which is not even a NSFW piece lol.
So yeah I'm making more lose lines, not trying to polish it to perfection just do to the point I'm already good with it, kinda like already drew years ago but less messy than before as well, I'm happier doing this way than worrying abt polishing too much.
I'm also looking for a mentor, can't have one right since I don't have money for it, but I'm definitely gonna try to find an artist to be my mentor this year, I used to have a mentor years back when I was starting out I believe that's a huge help to make me improve and rn I feel like I'm hard stuck with my skills level and maybe a mentor could help me out again
