Have you tried dark chains with a purple glow or some other color to make it more ominous? I feel like chains fit more into the theme of dark magic. I also like how the solid dark color makes them look unnatural, as opposed to simply glowing metal chains.

I like the dark and the magical chains, with the other two it would create too much white contrast for me next to the light skin tone and the surroundings
