Just to clarify seijoh did win a set against shiratorizawa, oikawa said himself they finally got a set off them back at the end of season 1 at the inter high qualifier final. He was super frustrated because despite finally achieving that they still lost.

I know it's been three weeks, but to answer the question... We do not know if Seijoh won a set against shiratorizawa, but I am sure that Oikawa, Iwaizumi and the other guys won a set against Shiratorizawa with Ushijima on there when they were in middle school in Kitagawa Daichi. I think it was shown on ep 22 or 23 in season 1 when Oikawa had his flashbacks with Kageyama. That was also the tournament where Oikawa won the best libero award.

oh btw, at 22:02 #3 semi actually told shirabu not to pass so much to ushijima and to consider his condition, but the translators basically butchered it for no reason??? lmao but yeah, this is important for both characters later on!

LMAO WHAT IN THE WORLD WAS THAT INTRO- 😂😂😂😂 and seijoh's never beat shiratorizawa, it's not mentioned, but implied, since shiratorizawa has always gone to nationals - and even in middle school as well, when Oikawa's mentioned how he couldn't ever beat Ushijima. and oooohohohohohoo tsukki's episode is yet to comeee

You are right about the nickname stuff but you got the name wrong the nickname is "ushiwaka" his fullname is ushijima wakatoshi so "ushi" from ushijima and "waka" from wakatoshi hence ushiwaka. Also the historic figure name was "ushiwakamaru" and his servant was benkei hence the nickname. Hope i explained it 😅

Absolute peak. This ep hits me in the feels because Tsukki steps up so much here and when you think back to how he was in season one. I love this anime
