scrapping yet another version of the lilya illustration many hours hours in, i just cant get em right... have her semi rendered face
i think i got it with the next one though:,) maybe i'll finish the young lilya drawing some other day. why is this woman giving me so much trouble

Honestly the only languages I've managed to actually learn are the ones I practiced in day to day life😭 I've tried learning a bunch of other ones (Spanish, Japanese, German, hell, Swedish also falls into this category) but couldn't keep anything in mind for long because I didn't use them regularly at all. Imo the best approach is having an actual tutor and consuming content in those languages regularly, otherwise your brain will just forget it all the first chance it gets lol

wahhhhh thats so cool!!! do you have any tips/advice for language learners? and another question, where did you learn these languages? was it just apart of the culture you grew up in or did you learn them through school or apps?

oh english aside (duh), i speak russian and belarusian natively, and i've been learning polish for the past couple of years. i wouldn't say i'm super fluent in it, but i can communicate with polish people no problem! i also understand ukrainian but don't speak it. uhhh i also studied swedish in uni but i only remember like 5 words from it lmao

hey ferry how many languages do you speak? im just curious did you grow up in a multilingual house/area or did you learn languages in school or for fun? i really love learning languages and so far ive learned a bit of japanese, russian, and im pretty fluent in french
