According to onlookers, it looked pretty painful. Didn't feel painful at the time. Just left me pretty dazed. It wasn't until hours later where it began hurting so much I could barely walk from the pain. Went to the hospital today (well, yesterday from your perspective) and had a few tests done.
Good news, no fracture.
Bad news, lost a lot of time so next update will be a day late (Tuesday instead of the usual Monday).
Remember! Don't fall down some stairs!

I hope you recover quickly, Mat. But this is why I keep telling people that we need to deal with the stair menace once and for all. Vile things, they are. Did you know that several times more people are killed annually by stairs than plane crashes, lightning strikes, and shark attacks <b><i>combined</i></b>? It's a travesty! And yet there are still people that defend them. "Stairs are good exercise," they say. "You can really feel the burn," they say. Is that what you are going to tell your loving grandma when she suffers a nasty fall at the hands (or rather, foot) of an unrepentant staircase? Because that's right--a disproportionate number of our beloved elders are targeted in vicious stair-on-human attacks! Make a difference. Say no to stairs.
