I started this Patreon back in December 2022 and since then it has grown into an amazing community and opportunity for me personally. I have designed sooooo many models and have seen my abilities grow leaps and bounds over the last two years and I could not be more grateful for all of your support.
As some of you have seen, I have branched out to other platforms to try to expand my reach to find new eyes and grow the Patreon even further. It has also been a search to try and find the right platform for me as a designer and you guys as supporters. After some trial and error I think I have found my new exclusive platform, Thangs!

I chose Thangs because it has essentially everything I built my own website for. A platform to host all of the files in one place and no Dropbox links. A way for you guys to communicate to me and somewhere you can show off your prints (Which can win you prizes on Thangs btw). It also automates some of the stuff I have to do manually right now that takes up a lot of time so that's a big win for me.
Before I get into the details I want to say up front that if you are on Patreon and would like to stay on Patreon you can absolutely do that and nothing will change for you. You will still get your monthly files, access to the website, and everything you usually do as if nothing was happening.
For those that are open to switching I have a nice little discount for you to say thank you and show my appreciation for your support thus far. If you head over to my Thangs page and use the code Maple3D it will save you 50% off 2 months when you sign up for 4 months. Also if you make the switch over to Thangs you will automatically unlock all of the Archive and Loyalty Packages regardless of how long you have supported the Patreon.
If you haven't been to Thangs yet, go take a look. There are features for both you and I that make me think that this is a positive move for everyone but as always I am open to your feedback. Also just a last little note, I am still in the process of uploading all of the Archive to Thangs so if you cant find something that could be why. In the end I would love to have everyone transfer over, but ultimately you do what works best for you.
If you have an Annual membership here on Patreon, the same is available on Thangs. When your Patreon membership has expired feel free to transfer over to Thangs with the discount.

TLDR: If you want to move your membership from Patreon to Thangs you can get a little discount as a thank you. Nothing will change for you if you want to stay on Patreon. If you cancel your membership on Patreon you will not be able to renew on Patreon. Moving memberships to Thangs is to have files, communication with members, and everything else on one platform instead of spread out between Patreon and my website. You're all awesome!

That’s a strange issue. I’ve spoken to a few people and they still have access to files from previous months even if they didn’t download them. Thangs is essentially running how my website does in my case anyways. Either way I appreciate the support!

One quirky issue I’ve had with Thangs is other memberships I’ve had if I don’t download the files from a month during that month then they aren’t in your library and you won’t have access to them without purchasing them. Cancelled a few memberships on their as a result. My Mini Factory adds everything to your account regardless and I have access to all of it forever without issue. I’ve done the annual memberships with you twice now, but if this issue happens on Thangs with your membership as well then I will definitely stick to Patreon and the website. Sometimes I don’t download stuff for a few months because of the shear volume of models I have memberships for

SUPER profile pic! And thank you for asking this, I’ve done some reading and set up an affiliate link. It doesn’t add anything to my pocket but if you guys are able to get others to sign up to my membership you can start getting a kick back too. I can do a post on that once I get more info

You would get everything since you are already a supporting member switching from Patreon to Thangs. It makes the transition for members easier for me so I'm not having to update each person specific to their situation and is an added bonus for all of you. This wont happen right away when you sign up, I will do everyone at once after people have had a chance to switch.

I will retract that. Yours is the first with no restrictions that I have seen. Every other one that has every switched over had same restrictions applied

Thangs has restrictions on the amount of files we can download a month. Usually 6-10 files. I enjoyed this patreon but don't support Thangs. Good luck on that platform
