Your visuals/visual aids are amazing, I can't praise them enough. Thank you for making this difficult subject so easy to understand. Fantastic video!

What a refreshing breeze of information. That isn't to say that it's easy to process... but that while watching it, it let me know that there is hope for the future... quite like a warm breeze on a quiet summer day. Thanks again.

This... that suicide guilt trip. I went through years of back and forths, nights of talking at nothing trying to understand wtf was wrong, later found out, of course, lies. I've never let myself get guilt tripped again. Even the smallest little thing, even just someone guilt tripping me over having to get lunch, I will call them out on it so they realize what they're trying to do. I don't doubt that people who would guilt trip someone over twenty minutes of time would guilt trip over their 'love'.

TheraminTrees, this is devilishly good as usual. Not long ago I dated a Norma and was in torment for much of the relationship. She was able to ignite a point of contention from even the smallest non-sin at all hours, and I was always painted into the corner as the wicked one. I was worn down to the bones, and suicide was threatened whenever I tried to back out gracefully. Sometimes ghosting is the only thing that works, and even though I felt so impish in doing it, I had to get away before she could siphon my soul. It's good to have escaped that tumultuous limbo.

Thank you for another brilliant video Link!  I think it's very important to understand how emotional backmail works to avoid falling victim to it, and you explain these things so clearly. You also named an idea that has been roaming through my mind without a word - "keyhole compassion". I've had a discussion before when asked (by a fellow atheist) why I sometimes challenge fundamentalists' ideas (I do so in a respectful way) when these might be the major source of comfort for them. It took me some time to get my point across - that other people's suffering is too high a price for one group's comfort. Having a name for the concept you're arguing against surely helps. As Ludwig Wittgenstein said, "The limits of my language mean the limits of my world."  Thanks again, and please take care.
