Hello everyone. Jeane here. I want to focus this newsletter on the world events that are happening right now concerning the Covid-19 Virus.
We have seen, heard, and experienced many things that have brought much fear and anxiety. As the many cities and countries have begun to shut down and lockdown, we can become afraid and panic with the rest of the world.
The virus is a serious epidemic, not to be taken lightly. Hygiene is the utmost important along with keeping our immune systems strong. Be aware and considerate of those persons whose immune systems can be compromised. But most of all, stay calm, and centered. Do not let fear paralyze you to the point of forgetting yourself- your spiritual self. Do not let anxiety cause you to stop breathing. Do not allow yourself to panic and act out of fear.
If you are having to stay at home, find projects that you have procrastinated doing, like painting a room. Do an art project. Read a few books. Try some new recipes. Clean out that closet that you have been meaning to do. The list goes on. If you have children at home with you, do some projects together! Or, use this time to just enjoy the company of you! If you have elderly or disabled neighbors who cannot get out to get groceries or certain necessities, offer to help them.
Remember, the circumstances that surround you are just that: circumstances — they are not bigger than who you truly are.
