Disaster Report II: The Squeakquel!
🕑 Added 2021-03-17 10:31:08 +0000 UTCI told you I would check in every night until Day 11 was finished, and as promised, here I am!
Today was setback after setback. I'd brought my laptop to work with me with the explicit intention of putting some time into Day 11 during my lunchbreak. The dev files are on my desktop back home, but that's exactly what TeamViewer is for! So I logged in and, in fussing with some settings trying to get the window to better fit my laptop's screen, I managed to freeze the desktop completely.
So, I went home, rebooted it, and went back in... and then, OneDrive started playing up because if you've ever used OneDrive, you'd know the only thing it does consistently is not fucking work properly! So, I spent the rest of the day trying to unfuck that. It's still acting weird even now with one folder showing as syncing despite being completely up to date as confirmed by OneDrive in my taskbar, but hey, par for the course. Imagine if Microsoft made the software for self driving cars? God have mercy on us all...
So I got home and it took me a bit to get my head in the game. All I've done for the last 5 days is work on Sileo and work at work, so... that's my excuse. But finally, I got into the zone and spent a few hours working on things.
So, that lead in bit. That's all done. I think it's an interesting approach. Hopefully you all agree. And it now smoothly transitions into the scene it was designed for, a scene which I have begun but not yet finished pumping full of steroids and even more ridiculous descriptions of body parts. I'll be coming back to this tomorrow night, hopefully wrapping that up and finally moving onto the home stretch.
So, we're just over 27000 words right now. Consider that Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone is just shy of 80000. Yeah. Fuck me, right? This fucker is 3 normal in-game days on it's own... no wonder I'm losing my marbles.
Oh well, see you all again tomorrow night when my transition into outright lunacy is complete. I will leave you with this brief excerpt...
"His underwear adhered so very closely to the more gentlemanly of his features, emphasizing the perfection of his stunningly crafted backside and securely cradling his flawless manhood. I basked in the glory of such majesty... but only for a moment, for my patience had already run dry..."
Watch out, Stephenie Meyer... I'm coming for you bitch!
