Here I was thinking I was cool with a Hakko and https://github.com/gcormier/fumebuddy for automatic fume control. Nice setup!

Dream setup, wish it was not so outrageously expensive. Used to have one of their older multi-tool setup at my previous job, never been switched off, worked flawlessly. Anyway they do make a venturi based pneumatic version of the suction module: https://www.jbctools.com/mve-pneumatic-desoldering-module-for-ddu-dmu-product-945.html, tried it once at a fab, way less irritating.
