Picking up my small & perfectly sane Xmas presents
Let me say this very publicly so that I am forced to abide by it: I will not buy any more XXL equipment while living in a first floor apartment.*Happy holidays, friends!*ᵉˣᶜᵉᵖᵗᶦᵒⁿˢ ᵃᵖᵖˡʸ

Repair and Tests: Datron 1281 8.5 Digit DMM
If this adds ratio transformer experiments to anybodies overly full TODO lists, I am "sorry"...(Schematic on pdf page 28 😈 https://xdevs.com/doc/Datron/1281/doc/Datron_1281_Service_Manual_1989-01_drawings.pdf)
CNC Rigid tapping with EtherCAT and LinuxCNC
There still seem to be a few bugs, the ending will be smoothed over once everything is working correctly

Solar power roof: Done
'Free' electricity for my lab for at least 3/4 of a year in northern Germany. Liquidation of my grand collection of portable power stations got me another 2 SOK batteries, but it's still not enough to comfortably get through winter.
NiMh, Cu, Steel & Invar stuff
Update 9 Mar: ADRmu 1.2 with LCSC part numbers for JLC assembly service, if anybody needs it:https://drive.google.com/file/d/13HhwEAEPzgzkxrb5JuMN7btz3VUfhB-d/view?usp=sharingTested successfully with both ADR1000 and LTZ1000. Still needs a few exotic parts which require reflow soldering, but seems to work great otherwise.
A new Vref claims to be better than LTZ1000!
Reps is on the case ...It took an eternity but there are still three things missing for the public release: Statistics for the newest boxes, some small parts from China and better noise measurements. So this draft still has a bit of an open end.
Secret Santas & more
A few more details in no particular order:A cubic meter of documentation:Why I thought I needed some new workbenches:The predecessors of "modern" HP feet were much nicer!I've liquidated most portable power stations and re-invested:
