Okay, will do! But a real voltage standard with a useful voltage and all is a bit tricky, I think I'll have to settle for a few layers to demonstrate the effect at a few mV maybe

I would definitely buy an electronic torque wrench (at around $200 depending on specs), even if the limit is manually set. Low torque values (like for self tapping screws in plastic) are of particular interest. I usually do 2 step process. Setting the number of times to hit the spec could be really interesting for metrology stuff.
