To flip out the top floor of the fiber laser I'll have to unwind some fiber from that slanted spool ... and it creeps me out. My instinct says that it's important, because they wouldn't do that for no reason. But on the other hand the fiber is just held on with double sided tape, so it can't be *that* critical, can it? Any fiber lazer experts around?
