By the way, it is possible to use the ethernet port: https://www.elegoomars.com/forum/showthread.php?tid=15

The pixels seem to be 47µm x 47µm which is a lot better than what you'd need for PCBs! Personally I have completely stopped etching my own PCBs tho, because of the unbeatable Chinese prices, even for prototypes ... but now that you mention it, that would be a very cool thing to try on that printer!

Is it at all worth to expose pcb:s with this setup or would the resolution of the LCD be to limiting?

weeell ... the IPA stench during cleaning is worse than the resin. A separate room would be beneficial. If you get too often or too much resin on your fingers, especially when dissolved in IPA you can get serious health issues. Support is sometimes hard to get right and if it fails you can end up with a lot of fine debris in your resin - which sometimes is so bad that it justifies dumping the entire vat. Even successful supports will leave tiny spots on the print after breaking off. But as I said in the video, if you need to print these small and precise parts, there has never been a better way to start. And when you get it all right, it's very fulfilling.

Aw, man, first it was that Cetus 3D printer that you showed that had me sorting bottlecaps from euros so I can scrape together enough to buy it, and now this? Come on... But seriously now, how much of a headache is it with these printers? I mean in terms of getting the resin then cleaning up after a print ?

Ah, really? Interesting. Moai is struggling hard with that - after a ton of fine tuning. Do you have a link to some instructions for proper washing? I bet I am doing it wrong :)

We have a formlabs machine at work that will do very fine threads and tiny medical stuff just fine actually, the biggest inaccuracies using the machine come from improper washing of parts. They're great machines, and I actually prefer it to our Stratasys SLS machine

well, the smell is not quite as bad as some people say, but the combination of noise and IPA cleaning really makes a separate room desirable ... I for one have sacrificed my kitchen :) If you ever need anything printed, send an stl file. All machines are standing still at the moment

tempted get one too but my flat is to small :(
