I use <a href="https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2810866" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2810866</a> to align mine. Sticks to the end of the co2 and just a little smoke and it's way easier to align.

Got samples of all the major linear rail companies - for this easy application I used the cheapest Banggood ones! Will show the other ones in the next CNC episode I hope?

Hmm, I wonder how important an always equal tensions of the two belts is here, as I believe that this can influence the angle between X and Y axis.
