Be aware that drilling sheet metal like that (unclamped) in a drill press can get exciting and dangerous when the bit gets stuck in the metal :)
hole saws are very imprecise - fine for pipes through walls, but they will tear at the material and the most out-of-line tooth will dictate the final diameter. Been there :o(
