A bit of a false impression of Germany
🕑 Added 2017-12-18 11:24:20 +0000 UTC I suggested to send one of the LoRa nodes flying with helium balloons. The Chinese developer didn't think that was such a good idea tho.Had a good laugh at the thought of a fighter jet squadron buzzing by to shoot my colorful party balloons :)

in UK you DO need permission to release a "weather" balloon - I am guessing a LORA toy would fall under the same category. Maybe this person got the impression that balloons became a problem in Germany after listening to 99 luftballoons figuring a natural response would be military action.

Still, better than doing it in america, where you would be shot before even launching the balloon, because they would think you want to build a helium bomb...
