I love this fun sometimes very silly & thoughtful flick. It's just Fun, Sarcastic, but while it makes fun of movies like this, it also has the message, that we all need to trip over a few times before we, wake up & see what's right in front of us.a broken world that needs mending, Uniting, not Divided Kin~doms & yeah so it's also hokey, but endearing as Ella sings Queens Somebody to love.

If you like this type of thing, you should watch 10th Kingdom. It's got a lot of fairytale references and is just the right amount of cheese.

So I have mixed feelings about this movie. It's a really cute and cheesy movie on it's own. It's based on a book though, that I used to read over and over as a kid. One of my all time favorite books. And I was so excited to see the movie when it came out. The characters have the same name, and the curse is the same, but that's where the similarities end. EVERYTHING else is different!! And I would love to see a movie that actually showed the book's storyline, but this one on it's own is not too bad. As long as it's not connected to the book. I do like the music in the movie though, and Cary Elwes (Wesley in Princess Bride) is fun as the bad guy!
