Trust not the wisps...
🕑 Added 2024-06-21 02:22:42 +0000 UTCShe'd heard stories of "wisps" in the forest, but had never actually seen one. Truth be told, she wasn't sure if the dancing blue lights she was seeing were actually them, or some variety of firefly, or a trick of the light...she followed them deeper into the woods, but they always hovered just out of reach.
She'd been so focused on the lights that she didn't notice the strange ruins she'd wandered into...or had been led to. More lights appeared, emerging from the doors and windows of the structures around her, swirling closer, spiraling around her body. She was mesmerized until her shirt loudly tore down the front, and her gasp of surprise sounded more like a yip...looking down, her barreling chest was covered in two columns of teats, quickly being lost in a tangle of orange and white fur. A long, fluffy tail burst from her rear. Standing on two legs suddenly felt very awkward, partly due to her changing feet, and partly from the growing ache in her core that made her knees quake.
As the newly-minted fox whined and pawed at the air, the wisps dispersed as quickly as they'd appeared, their task complete once more...
